Polysafe Apex vinyl safety flooring in the Chromite shade was chosen for a 450m² kitchen area which caters round the clock for guests at the 4 star rated, 128 room hotel by the River Shannon. Purchased from Provincial Floorcoverings Ltd, the flooring was fitted by MJ Flooring Contractors in Athlone in four sections to minimise disruption to the daily operation of the kitchen.

Luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor’s design-led Expona Commercial range were chosen to create a sleek, modern look for innovative skincare brand GENEU Ltd’s flagship store on New Bond Street, London.
Hard wearing Expona Commercial luxury vinyl tiles in the Exposed Concrete design were installed in the new Mayfair store where GENEU Ltd offers the world’s first in-store DNA test for personalised skincare. Managed by Karen Higgins Projects, this realistic stone effect floorcovering was used as part of the store design in main consulting and treatment areas.
Expona SimpLay helps create high design office for Stallergenes Greer

Polyflor’s high performance Expona SimpLay PUR loose lay luxury vinyl tiles were recently used to create a stunning office interior for the London headquarters of global biopharmaceutical company Stallergenes Greer.
Designed by Resonate Interior Architecture, heavy commercial Expona SimpLay flooring in two contrasting wood effect designs was chosen for the refurbishment of Stallergenes Greer’s Bernard Street office.
Approximately 800 m² of flooring in Grey Country Oak and Rich Walnut was installed by Sanson Contracts Ltd flooring contractors in the reception area, meeting rooms, offices, corridors and breakout areas.
Expona Flow used for dental surgery refurbishment

High design Expona Flow PUR sheet vinyl flooring from Polyflor was used for a complete refurbishment of Centre Endodontique Saint-Laurent in Ville St Laurent, Québec.
Approximately of 209m² of Expona Flow flooring in the Painted Chevron design was installed by flooring contractors Excel Sol in the dental practice of endodontist Dr. Chafic Safi. Chosen by interior designers Influence Design of Laval, the flooring was fitted throughout the practice, in the reception area, treatment rooms and circulation areas. The Painted Chevron design recreates the look of white wood planks laid in a dramatic chevron pattern.
Expona Flow helps create healing atmosphere at physiotherapy clinic

Polyflor’s Expona Flow PUR flooring was recently selected to cover floors throughout the new “goPhysio” clinic in Eastleigh.
Expona Flow PUR heterogeneous flooring in the Roasted Limed Ash design was installed by GE Nichols Flooring Ltd in five treatment rooms, exercise studio and reception area at the spacious and modern clinic.
Fiona Moir, Director of goPhysio commented, “This elegant ash flooring design helped us create the calming atmosphere we wanted in the new goPhysio clinic in time for its December 2016 launch. The fact that it is hardwearing and easy to maintain is also a big benefit for us.”
Expona Flow helps RSPB visitor centre prepare for summer

Polyflor’s Expona Flow and Polysafe Verona vinyl flooring was installed in the refurbished visitor centre at RSPB Bempton Cliffs nature reserve near Bridlington, East Yorkshire.
Around 240m² of Expona Flow heavy commercial sheet vinyl flooring in Honey Beige was installed throughout the visitor centre’s exhibition area and gift shop by Paul Hood & Son flooring contractors of Hull. The Honey Beige design was chosen to complement the surrounding coastal environment of Bempton Cliffs. Polysafe Verona PUR safety flooring in Cookie Cream was also installed in stairwells, corridors and bathroom areas.
Affinity255 flooring creates a bold design at Nottingham Girls’ High School

Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor were used to create a simple yet stunning floor design for a refurbished common room area at Nottingham Girls’ High School.
The contrasting Champagne Oak and Jet Black Ash wood effect designs from the Affinity255 LVT collection were installed by local flooring contractors Slack & Co Floorcoverings Ltd at the independent school for girls near Nottingham city centre. A large square was created using the Jet Black Ash shade in the centre of the floor to contrast against the common room’s white furniture.

High performance wood effect safety flooring from Polyflor was selected for an £8 million new build school project, Newton Leys Primary School & Nursery in Milton Keynes.
Approximately 1200m² of Polysafe Wood fx PUR safety flooring was installed at the primary school by Leicester based flooring contractors Westcotes Flooring working with main contractors Willmott Dixon.
High clarity timber effect Polysafe Wood fx PUR safety flooring in the American Oak design was used throughout the school, in classrooms and around areas where spillages may occur, such as in kitchenettes and children’s sink areas.
Forest fx flooring adds a natural feel to the Greenlea Oncology Unit

Wood effect flooring from Polyflor’s Forest fx PUR range was used to create an interior inspired by nature for the refurbished Greenlea Oncology Unit at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
The Rustic Oak design from Forest fx range was fitted throughout the Chemotherapy and Oncology unit as part of a £2.2m ward improvement scheme.
Jammal Mohammed, Project Manager at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary comments, “We chose this wood effect design from the Forest fx range to bring a sense of the outdoors into the ward and create a calming, less clinical atmosphere for our patients when they are receiving treatment.”
Expona SimpLay installed at Super U supermarket

Around 1400m² of Polyflor’s Expona SimpLay PUR loose lay luxury vinyl tiles were used for a refurbishment project at Super U supermarket, La Tranche sur la Mer, France.
A variety of wood, stone and textile effects from the Expona SimpLay PUR collection were fitted by DMC Habitat in the grocery, bakery, clothing, homeware, leisure and electricals departments of the store.
The seven Expona SimpLay designs chosen were Grey Mystique Wood, Grey Country Oak, Dark Country Oak, Light Grey Concrete, Dark Grey Concrete, Slate and Brown Leather.
Expona LVT creates a simple statement floor in farm shop

Expona Design luxury vinyl tiles from leading vinyl flooring manufacturer Polyflor were chosen to create a unique design floor at The Balloon Tree Farmshop and Café in York.
Natural Brushed Oak and Silvered Driftwood luxury vinyl tiles from the Expona Design collection were installed by Elvington Floorcraft Ltd, with the grey-toned Silvered Driftwood shade creating a large circle in the middle of the shop floor.
Owner of The Balloon Tree Farmshop Matthew Machin commented, “We’re delighted with the refurbishment and new floor design which has given our farmshop a modern refresh in time for our busy Christmas period.”
Expona flooring range brings extra flavour to coffee shop

Polyflor’s Expona Design and Expona Control flooring ranges were used to create a sophisticated statement floor design at Harris + Hoole coffee shop in Slough recently.
A combination of tiles in contrasting colours were chosen by design consultancy Path Design of London to create this striking effect.
Flooring contractors Redlay Flooring installed 185m² of Expona Design flooring in the drinking and dining areas of the high street artisan coffee shop fitted out by Uplands Retail. The design incorporated a mixture of contemporary colours and textures using tiles in Light Elm wood effect and textile effect Creme Matrix and Mocca Matrix.
Expona flooring makes a big splash at Surf Snowdonia

Expona Commercial PUR luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor were installed inside the visitor centre at the world’s first inland surfing lagoon, Surf Snowdonia Adventure Parc.
Approximately 700 m² of Expona Commercial flooring in the Weathered Country Plank design was installed by JDP Flooring in the Surf Side Café and shop inside the centre’s HUB Building.
Peter Hinde, General Manager commented, “This flooring fits perfectly with the natural, inspired by the outdoors interior design scheme we wanted to achieve. In practical terms, the floor is also coping extremely well with the high number of visitors we are attracting every day.”
Affinity255 creates dream floor for Natural Bed Company showroom

Luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor’s innovative Affinity255 PUR flooring collection were used to create a stunning herringbone design floor at Natural Bed Company’s showroom in Sheffield.
290 m² of Affinity255 PUR vinyl flooring in the Seasoned Grey Oak design was installed in the shop floor area by Sheffield based contractors MG Flooring on this showroom project managed by Structural Interiors and designed by Studio Gedye architects.

Expona installed at Envie student coffee shop

Heavy commercial luxury vinyl tile flooring from Polyflor’s Expona Commercial PUR collection was used to create a modern coffee shop for the students living at the new Envie Student apartments in Ottawa.
Approximately 110m² of Expona Commercial luxury vinyl tiles in the Beige Varnished Wood design were installed throughout the coffee shop by Giant Carpet Flooring contractors.
The interior design scheme was put together by Creative Friction who chose the Beige Varnished Wood design, which has the look of pseudo-industrial timber which has been stripped and varnished many times over to give a worn effect.
Expona Commercial LVT adds high design appeal to Liberty Stadium

Liberty Stadium, the home stadium of Swansea City football club and the Ospreys rugby team, has 37 conference suites for hosting a variety of meetings and events. Local contractors BAPTT Shopfitters Ltd installed Expona Commercial flooring in the new OSTC FX Suite at the stadium.

Stockmoor Lodge is a modern, purpose-built nursing home with specialist dementia care provision that can accommodate up to 90 residents.
Three safety flooring collections featuring sustainable wet slip resistance were used throughout communal areas and bathrooms within the care home – Polysafe Wood fx PUR wood effect flooring, Polysafe Hydro Evolve flooring for continually wet areas and Expona Control PUR luxury vinyl tiles.

Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tiles were installed by Cardiff based contractors Floor Furnishings throughout the reception, meeting rooms and corridors at Cambria Consulting’s office in Penarth Marina. Cambria Consulting Ltd provide engineering services to the construction industry, working in the commercial, residential, health, education, retail and defence sectors.
Tapping into the trend for white wood flooring, Cambria Consulting chose the Planed White Oak design to create a crisp and clean interior design scheme.
Expona Design chosen for dental practice

Luxury vinyl tiles from the Expona Design collection for commercial interiors were selected to create a high end look in iDentis, a modern dental practice in Berlin, Germany.
The dramatic Dark Brushed Oak shade provides a contrast against the pure white walls, fixtures and fittings, producing a contemporary look that is appealing and comforting to patients.
Interior designer Hubert Günther from pd raumplan GmbH selected this floorcovering for the reception, waiting area and treatment rooms, covering approximately 300m².
Expona Flow installed at Staffordshire University

Concrete effect Expona Flow PUR sheet vinyl flooring was used to create a contemporary interior design scheme at Staffordshire University’s Mellor Building in Stoke-on-Trent.
The £4.5 million project to refurbish the top three floors of the Mellor Building, home to the Schools of Computing and Engineering, is part of a £40 million project to improve Staffordshire University's Stoke-on-Trent campuses.
Installed by Westcotes Flooring Ltd contractors, the Dark Grey Concrete design used in break out and study areas inside the Mellor Building is from the Expona Flow Concrete collection of heterogeneous vinyl flooring.

Specified by main contractor H Bell & Sons (Rochdale) Ltd and installed by Winton Flooring in Manchester, the flooring creates a welcoming and relaxing environment, suitable for pupils during lunch breaks.

Polysafe safety flooring with acoustic properties was chosen for circulation areas on the basement level of the Charles Street Building at Sheffield Hallam University’s city centre campus.
Designed by Bond Bryan Architects and constructed under main contractor Balfour Beatty plc, the £25 million Charles Street Building houses the university’s Faculty of Development and Society as well as the Sheffield Institute of Education.
Approximately 1000m² of Polysafe Wood fx Acoustix PUR safety flooring in Silver Oak was installed by Phoenix Flooring to stairwells, landings and corridors on the building’s basement level.
Bright and beautiful Bloc flooring brings colour to architect’s office

Eye-catching Bloc solid colour vinyl flooring was installed in the refurbished office of Ashworth Parkes Architects in Cambridge.
Bloc PUR in the bright yellow Lemon Punch design was selected to add a pop of bold colour to the modern, minimalist office space at Ashworth Parkes Architects HQ. The subtler Studio Grey shade from the Bloc collection was used for an upstairs meeting area.

Polysafe Verona PUR safety flooring was installed to create a new training area with sustainable wet slip resistance for dogs and their handlers at the recently refurbished Guide Dogs for the Blind Training School in Woodford Green, Essex.
Around 450 m2 of Polysafe Verona PUR sheet vinyl flooring in the vibrant Blue Lagoon 5206 shade was installed in the school’s training and demonstration area to create a safe working area for handlers and dogs when going through their regular training routines.
Christ Church Primary School - School hall fit for playtime thanks to F Ball

F. Ball’s high performance subfloor preparation and adhesive products have been used to renovate the floor of a 160m2 school hall at Christ Church CE Primary School in Kent.
A combination of Stopgap 600 deep section base compound and Stopgap 200 Smooth acrylic floor smoothing underlayment was used over a Stopgap Waterproof Surface Membrane, firstly to build up the subfloor to the required thickness and then create a smooth, durable surface on which the final floorcovering could be laid. Styccobond F46 pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive was used to secure the vinyl Polyflor XL floorcovering to the finished subfloor...
