Asbestos roof refurbishment coating in Preston

This complicated asbestos roof structure was heavily soiled and leaking in numerous places.
Asbestoseal was specified because it is the only BBA Approved asbestos roof coating on the market.
The roof was cleaned using 150°c steam, which kills all moss and lichen spores on contact, leaving a perfectly clean substrate for coating.

This metal roof had already been treated with a well known cut edge corrosion system, which had begun to fail in multiple areas due to water becoming trapped between the overlapping roof sheets, which had been sealed with silicone sealant.
Flexlap system is made from a specially hardened silicone, designed to resist environmental dirt pick-up as well as providing a much smoother finish.
Liquasil does not recommend that the gap between overlapping roof sheets is sealed.
Any moisture that might be present can escape or evaporate naturally, which is how built-up steel profile roofs are designed to work.

Liquasil's Cladcoat™ was applied the cladding of this industrial unit in Shirley, West Midlands.The cladding was jet washed prior to application to remove the failing factory finish, creating a smooth surface and ensuring proper adhesion. Any areas of spot rust were treated using SWT Primer to prevent rust breakthrough before two coats of Cladcoat™ were applied directly to the substrate.The project gave the unit a new lease of life, completely revitalising the old and worn-looking cladding to leave it looking good as new.On top of the aesthetic overhaul, the finish is UV stable and resistant to cracking and flaking, due to its excellent flexibility and adherence.
Asbestos Roof Coating With BBA Approved Asbestoseal

A DOFF steam cleaner was used to thoroughly clean the moss and lichen from this asbestos roof in Bridgwater.
The metal fixings were treated with Liquasil's rust tolerant primer and then sealed, along with cracked sheets, using Non-Sag Sealer, before the whole roof was coated using Asbestoseal 20.
The end result was a leak-free asbestos roof that will last for many more years.

This is a metal roof coating & liquid gutter lining project carried out at Oxford Brookes University.
The roof was power washed and the gutters cleaned before application.
The gutters were treated with Liquasil's rust primer to prevent further rusting, before the seamless, silicone Gutterseal system was applied.
The roof was coated with a single coat of Metalseal 20 in Goosewing Grey.

This project, to coat approximately 2000 sq metres of asbestos roof with the BBA Approved Asbestsoeal system is a lesson for all in correct health and safety.
Liquasil provides all approved installers with H&S training as standard. This deals with correct use of netting, scaffold, walkways, work platforms and waste water filtration from asbestos roof cleaning.
Having already completed 500sq metres on a unit a year previously, the contractor was invited back to complete the rest of the block, which is the best possible endorsement.

The asbestos cement roof was first cleaned using a closed box pressure washer. All waste was filtered and disposed of by a licensed asbestos disposal contractor.
Metal fixings were treated with Liquasil SWT Corrosion Primer and then sealed, along with small cracks and holes, with Non-Sag Sealer before the roof was coated with Asbestoseal 20.
The project included GRP rooflight replacement and new ridge detail and flashings.

The asbestos cement roof to this industrial unit in Hereford was heavily contaminated with moss and lichen and was leaking in numerous places.
The moss and other vegetation was first dampened down, scraped off and placed into designated asbestos waste bags for licensed disposal.
The roof was then steam cleaned. All metal fixings were treated with Liquasil's rust primer and sealed with Non-Sag Sealer.
Small holes and cracks were sealed with Non-Sag Sealer.
The entire roof was then coated with Asbestsoeal 20 and is now resistant to moss growth and water leaks.

Roofs and external cladding were all stripped of existing finishes using vapour blasting.

The finish is now graffiti proof, with any graffiti simply washing off with water, with no ghosting residue.

This is an asbestos cement roof refurbishment project, using the BBA Approved Asbestoseal system from Liquasil.
The roof was first cleaned using a steam cleaning machine and all metal fixings were treated with Lqiuasil's SWT Primer.
All fixings and cracks were sealed with Non-Sag Sealer before the roof was completely coated with Asbestoseal 20, providing long term protection against the elements.
A 10 year Latent Defects Insurance Guarantee was issued upon completion.
Metal roof & parapet coating project using Metalseal 20 from Liquasil

This project involved the removal of the existing factory finish to an industrial unit in the West Midlands, followed by cut edge corrosion treatment and full roof & parapet coating.
Once the original finish had been removed using high pressure jet washing, all of the end laps to the roof sheets were coated with SWT (Surface & Wet Tolerant) corrosion primer, to prevent further rusting.
Once cured, the roof was coated with the BBA Approved Metalseal 20 to a film thickness of approx 300 microns.
