The client was looking for a technology solution to reduce their energy and operational costs, and new ways to engage its users to drive additional revenue based on shared values with its community.Our SolutionSAVORTEX deployed 20 of its revolutionary adDryerTM hand dryers on a pilot in 2 of the busiest washrooms at Camden Market. Over the trial period the estates manager was able to monitor hand dryer usage and washroom footfall of 45,100 people per month with an average drying time of 8.8 seconds, triggering 1,100 washroom inspections per week, resulting in significant operational savings throughout the estate. Lincoln bowl has recently undergone a major washroom refurbishment to give their bowling alley a much-needed makeover. The renovation consisted of a whole washroom revamp from flooring to washbasins, taps, urinals and even the less-abled washroom facilities. Ellis Guilford has over 1,300 hard-working and enthusiastic students studying under their roof. The school promotes a supportive and engaging environment where pupils can express their individuality, ambition, and drive. The school was looking for a washroom revamp that would keep with the school’s core values. From this assessment the Dolphin ALAVO modular system was chosen to be an integral part of the upgrade as it contained all the required elements of mirrors, lighting, taps, hand dryers, paper towel and soap dispensers in an attractive integrated modular system. Working with designer Katherine Rawlings and contractor Sarah Constructions, Dolphin Solutions AU was able to deliver the ALAVO system as pictured to be a vital part of the upgrade works at Adelaide Airport South Australia.

Ecoprod recently undertook a complete refurbishment of the washrooms at Dukes Court – 220,000 sq ft of premium office space in central Woking. The project started in January 2020 and handover was July 2020, somewhat later than expected due to the effect of the Covid 19 lockdown in Spring 2020.This project was delivered in collaboration with Designer Contracts Interiors UK Ltd who managed the flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, lighting, tiling, decorating and mirrors. The ClientThe Royal Bank of Scotland, an international bank based in the UK, with over £1 trillion of assets and 118,000 employees, has a total estate within the UK of 1,800 branches and 700 other buildings, mainly offices.Their ProblemThe client chose to conduct trials at its premier place Location in London. The building use costly and wasteful paper towels as the hand drying solution in its washrooms used daily by 3,200 staff.The Head of estates was looking for innovative technology solutions to reduce cost, litter, resource and waste to landfill throughout its 50 corporate buildings.Our SolutionSAVORTEX deployed 4 of its EcoCurve 550D Smart hand dryers on trial at 2 RBS locations in London and Manchester, where there is high footfall. The EcoCurve Smart uses an advanced digital brushless motor technology offering 10x more operational life, and consumes power of just 550W against traditional dryers. Further, the Smart dryer uses its patented in-built sensors wirelessly reporting energy usage per dry and washroom footfall to the SAVORTEX web portal, allowing the estate manager to remotely access and manage washroom facilities.During the trial the EcoCurve Smart dryer reported usage on a daily basis with the base data showing usage per hour throughout the day. The average time per dry, as measured over 1,336 uses was 8.34 seconds, and 41 washroom cleaning alerts were generated, resulting in effective cleaning of the washrooms based on actual footfall, introducing new operational efficiencies throughout the estate.

Franke Products were chosen for a ground breaking transformation of the disused Bute Mill facility for Youthscape: a charity who works with young people across Luton. We delivered a bespoke washroom design, with a stylish monochrome colour scheme for a co-working office space in the City. The bespoke Corian slab-style vanity tops with square counter top basins, supported on custom-made metal leg frame forms a key part of the contemporary design. The multi-functional mirror units above the vanities also conceal hand dryers and soap units. The same dark grey HPL laminate was used to face our full height Alto toilet cubicle doors, our Concerto integrated duct panels and modesty screens. We also installed our Forza Lockers to each floor for staff.

The ChallengeSimon Balle School asked BrookhouseUK to help them create two new Unisex washrooms in their Block 1 and Block 2 Sixth Form areas of the school.The aim was to create open plan washroom spaces but with two sides to them by creating a partial height wall separating the two sides. As the layouts were completely changing and structural work needed to take place, this was a challenging undertaking.Full height IPS cubicles were required with separate vents in each along with new hand washing facilities. Simon Balle School were fully committed to investing in these new modern toilet blocks which future-proofed them for generations to come. They also did not want to wait until the next summer holidays to complete the work.The SolutionBrookhouseUK, having created a strict methodology for term time work, were able to refurbish both washrooms during term-time. We created a design which included demolishing the central dividing wall and installing new half-height partition walls using timber studs and hygiene wall cladding.Two new modern solid surface wash troughs sat on each side of the new walls which included automatic taps and automatic soap dispensers, vastly improving the facilities. Oak effect doors with contrasting dark IPS panels gave the washrooms a fresh, updated look.New automatic dryers were installed to complete the modernisation.
