This was an exciting project for Architect Emma Adams - an entire 1930’s house in Cambridge was to be upgraded with the addition of a large rear extension. Clement steel windows and door screens were chosen to totally revitalise the back of the house and also internally, with the addition of an interior screen between the kitchen and sitting room. The slim, black frames let in plenty of light as well as create a contemporary feel throughout.

The Cooperage is located on a former industrial site in Central London and is believed to have been built in the early 1900s. Following an unsympathetic earlier restoration in the 1990s, Chris Dyson Architects were invited in 2011 to prepare a scheme for the extension and complete renovation of the property, turning it into a spectacular five bedroom family house. The Cooperage has been nominated for the RIBA House of the Year 2017 long list.

Completed in 2001, the total area is 37,000 sq m, with five floors comprising offices, a cafe and internal and external garden areas. Underfloor air conditioning was specified for the project for its energy efficient operation and contribution towards the Green Building design. Adopting an underfloor solution allowed the elimination of the ceiling void and the introduction of cotton sails to enhance the thermal mass from the concrete downstand beams.

Designed by architectural practise Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, the distillery consists of five cells that seamlessly blend into The Macallan’s traditional Speyside estate as undulating, green-roofed earthworks. Four of these would house the brand’s production operations and one would be the visitor centre. The industrial elements of the site were provided with Flowfresh HF LT, while the new centre utilised a range of decorative resin flooring solutions.

RCM were appointed by GAP Ltd to supply their Supertech Weatherboard in an Ebony stain finish to enhance the exterior appearance of these new-build exclusive homes.

As honorary Chief Architect of Historical Monuments and a member of the French Heritage Society (among other titles), he was the perfect choice for the renovation of the buildings and the grounds. His vision was to make use of the history of the city to embellish the ancient buildings and has done so by respecting the history of the Hôtel-Dieu while giving back the grounds to the inhabitants of Lyon.

These innovations provide continuous protection against shifting.

It is one of the top Spas in the UK with an impressive indoor to outdoor vitality pool. F.H. Brundle assisted in the design of this installation and supplied a quantity of glass spigots & stiffeners, 25 linear metre of stainless steel split tube and 30m2 of 21.5mm toughened laminated glass.

The mailboxes are located in the reception lobby area of the building where residents walk through to access their apartments. Horizontal type ‘COM 2 – 180 Steel Door’ mailboxes have been recessed into the wall which ensured that there was enough space for residents to retrieve their mail whilst allowing other building users to pass in the corridor with ease.

In April 2010 the Tepid Baths closed for repairs and a major makeover. As part of this renovation project Accoya® wood was chosen for its durability and stability especially for its use in wet and humid environments such as swimming pools. New Zealand distributor, Timspec supplied the Accoya wood which was used for the changing room doors, seats and frames. At nearly 100 years old, the building will remain a great place to swim for the next 50 years.

Saint Hill Manor situated near East Grinstead, Sussex, is the British headquarters of the Church of Scientology. The Saint Hill castle was built in 1968, the refurbishment enhanced the existing beauty of the building by maintaining a consistent design theme throughout. Head of Logistics, Anna Pizevska chose Bushboard’s Paraline Platinum full height cubicle range, with beautifully crafted streamlined pilasters and headrail and Walnut doors. Paraline Platinum was the perfect commercial washroom for the theme of the building.
