Bishop Luffa School chooses Bow Top and Mesh to secure the perimeter of newly remodelled site

Around the perimeter of the school, Jacksons installed approximately 140 metres of 1.8m high Bow Top fencing, 3 metres of 1m high Bow Top fencing.
To provide separate access control for pedestrians and vehicles, 4 manual single leaf Bow Top gates and 3 double leaf Bow Top gates were installed, one of which was automated to control access to the site.
In addition to this, we supplied 26.6 metres of 1.8m high EuroGuard® Flatform Medium mesh, and 38 metres of 2.4m high EuroGuard®Flatform Medium , along with 1 single leaf 2m wide EuroGuard Flatform Heavy Gate.
Victoria Gate Retail Facility

When architects ACME designed a new landmark retail facility in Leeds, the aim was to build a shopping centre fit for luxury brands. dormakaba supplied HSW-R glass sliding shop front systems, ES200 automatic sliding door entrances & MUNDUS patch fittings, to ensure a high performance access solution with elegant appearance.
150 panels across the arcade, was installed. HSW-R systems include an ITS96 door closer, concealed within frame for discreet appearance. The system’s double glazed panels are supported by aluminium ceiling suspended track avoiding any obstructions for wheelchair users. This creates an ideal access solution for retail entrance settings.
Surespan head 'Downtown' For Msheireb Downtown Doha Project

Downtown Doha is a multimillion pound scheme to regenerate the Downtown Doha district. Surespan supplied a wide number of electrically operated glazed roof hatches along with solid top roof access hatches. Sizes included a 3310 x 1120, 4320 x 1110, 3245 x 760, 1098 x 4330mm and the biggest size came in at 4462 x 6654mm. All the hatches were provided powder coated using Interpon D series for enhanced durability.
In addition, a variety of other products including wall & ceiling access panels were manufactured from Stainless steel. The largest panel was 2700 x 1600mm manufactured as a double door.
Bolsover Model Village

The Grade II listed village of New Bolsover, near Chesterfield, was built in 1891 to house local workers. Terraced houses and community buildings were constructed around a central communal square.
In 2015, supported by Heritage Lottery funding, Bolsover District Council initiated a project to upgrade all 194 two and three-bedroom homes. We were commissioned to manufacture and install 504 heritage casement windows and 691 heritage box sash windows, with architects Halsall Lloyd Partnership stipulating that they must closely match the original.
All the windows are softwood with hardwood sills; and include approximately 12,000 individual Slimlite double glazed panels.

This Edwardian office building in a London west end conservation area has undergone a remarkable transformation, re-emerging as luxury apartments.
The project, led by architects De Metz Forbes Knight, redesigned and updated the stone-fronted property on the corner of Great Portland Street and Langham Street, which boasts high windows and fine London.
We were appointed to design, supply and install 71 heritage casement windows which would reflect the original styling yet provide modern thermal containment. We created the windows using Slimlite double glazed units with larch frames, and also applied EPDM sealant to further contribute to energy efficiency.

A telescopic single sliding door, powered by an iMotion 2302 operator, gives access through to a tranquil urban garden.

Hotel Indigo® Cardiff is a boutique hotel designed by Matthews Mee Interior Design to evoke classic Welsh heritage. The hotel combines contemporary style and heritage-rich designs to reflect its Welsh location. Hamilton Litestat’s stylish Hartland collection of box-fit decorative wiring accessories, finished in either Matt Black or Antique Brass, were selected for the 122-guestroom hotel – complementing the Welsh design themes and delivering a high-quality look. A combination of Hartland 1, 2 and 3-gang rocker switches were specified for controlling lighting, plus a European SHUKO and dual USB double switched sockets were fitted in a bespoke plate within every room.

This project also features our Disabled Access lockers which comply with Sport England recommendations.

The Core, Science Central

When the Duty-Free Retail Area of the airport was recently refurbished, the design incorporated large sweeping curves on plan which also incorporated the shopfronts. The demise line of the shopfronts also entailed that they needed the facility to be closed off outside trading hours from a security point of view in addition to each unit being an individual fire compartment.
Bolton Gate’s Contour shutters were specified which operate laterally and coil into a box at one end - this innovative product can describe an infinite number of bends and curves whilst closing off openings up to 100 metres wide.

Over 1,000 Profile 22 Optima Chamfered Windows have been used in a conversion project in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
Sim Chem House in Cheadle Hulme was a six storey office block built in the 1960s. The building had been empty for many years and fallen into disrepair. It was purchased by developers Inspired Homes to be redeveloped into 184 studio, one and two bed ultra-high quality apartments aimed at young homeowners.

The Northern General Hospital in Sheffield chose Yeoman Shield fire rated door protection systems to refurbish doors in the Radiology Department.
The configuration and refurbishment of the department was undertaken to improve patient flow, the overall environment and to rationalise inpatient and outpatient areas to satisfy privacy, dignity and capacity issues.
Yeoman Shield’s (Harrison Thompson) directly employed fixing operatives, who have been assessed as being competent to install such passive fire-resistant products by FIRAS, installed fire rated door protection panels, PVCu clad Glazing Bead Units and Door Edge Protectors to various doors throughout the unit.

The scheme forms part of the English Cities Fund’s Salford Central regeneration scheme which is regenerating more than 50 acres of Salford’s historic centre. The product used for this project is Wienerberger's Forum Smoked Branco brick.

Long Term Solution for Troublesome A55 Manhole Covers

IKO approved contractor and highway repair specialist, RAB Associates (UK) Ltd, removed the cast iron cover and frames, and removed residual material such as loosened brickwork. The surrounding distressed road surfacing was also removed. Then, using IKO Permatrack Compounds, the re-bedding to match adjacent levels of the previous items was quickly completed. The repair was finished using IKO Permatrack and pre-coated high PSV chippings to fill the surrounding void to match the existing road levels.
Bespoke CorTen steel planter system for a challenging environment

Handyside is a compact, contemporary space that comprises a children’s play area for families to enjoy.
The pathways were created with curved plant and tree beds, defined with Perimeta HiGrade Bespoke organic shaped raised planters in CorTen steel. The landscape also called for a steel planter system that could accommodate varying heights.
The Kinley team worked closely with Townshend Landscape Architects right from the concept stages of the ambitious design to engineer a planter system that created and enhanced the vision.

ASF Manufactured this large planter and seat from corten steel. The structure of the planter is 100% corten, manufactured as modular sections that were transported to site in sections and simply put together in situ. The seat area is a lowered platform alongside a running edge of the planter with hardwood seat slats attached to the top with invisible fixings. The seat area brings the lowered side up to full planter height so people can sit alongside the raised garden bed the planter creates.

Artform suggested a mixture of sleek reconstituted granite and simple natural granite benches. Anastasio-Makatite benches were chosen to face out to sea and to partially form planting beds with a variety of local flowers. This helped to improve the appearance of the promenade as well as providing a wonderful vantage point for people to sit and take in the sea views. Local points of reference and historical facts were also included on floor plaques directly in front of the benches so that they could be viewed and enjoyed whilst sitting on the seats.

Achieving this involved discussing the available options, equipment needs of patients and visitors and looking into value for money. It was also vital that the room felt warm and welcoming to give the users the best possible surroundings when using the Changing Place.
The final bathroom solution included a Shower and Changing Bed, a SlimLine unit with a Support washbasin and a Toilet Lifter with Support Arms.
