MOL CAMPUS
Lindner Group
The Lindner Group took on a key role in the construction of the MOL Campus. Around 33,000 m² of the FLOOR and more® G40 hollow floor was installed in the high-rise building. The entire system complies with the REI 60 fire protection requirements andcan therefore withstand a potential fire for a full 60 minutes, which makes a huge difference in an emergency. In addition, Lindner installed around 1,200 m² of NORTEC control room systems for the server rooms. The implementation of the project requiredextremely precise coordination on site, especially in close cooperation with electricians and other trades. In addition, there was a particularly tight schedule: At times, up to 2,500 m² of floor were delivered per week. However, with excellent teamwork, these challenges were quickly overcome and the project was completedwithin a very short time.

SPSenvirowall system which consisted of 4,500m2 of 140mm grey EPS with an acrylic brick slip finish in red nuance and Staffordshire blue and a coloured render was supplied. Once installed, the u-value calculation went from 2.06 W/m²K to 0.23 W/m²K providing residents with a much warmer home and lower energy costs.

Location: Salford, UKThe design for the M&E installation at Queen Street, Salford, had not progressed far enough to give a detailed work requirement to the builders. Specwall’s construction methods allowed the installation of these works after the walls were built without the need for lintels or complicated letterbox details.Using Specwall allowed the developer to progress the build timetable and finalise the M&E details concurrently, something that would not be possible with traditional wall systems.

Due to the curved design of the new Everton Stadium structure, the contractors (Laing O’Rourke) were looking for M&E supports that could sit on the curved surfaces and still support the M&E installation correctly. Walraven were invited on site to discuss the Walraven Yeti solution, which is an all-in-one adjustable support foot for pitched roofs / curved surfaces. The Walraven Yeti foot was specified due to its ease of installation, adjustability and sustainable credentials.

This museum is the native home of Enzo Ferrari, this is the house where he first opened his work shop. London architectural studio “Surface Design” were responsible for the creation of this futuristic exhibition gallery.
The ceiling gallery comprises of 2700 m² of Barrisol sheet Blanc mat.
The walls of the studio are covered with 270 m² of Barrisol sheets Lumiere and Lumiere color and have images, movies and historical documents projected in a multimedia as a permanent part of the exhibition.

System M was specified for the refurbishment due to its strength and durability. System M’s patented emergency access system is made possible by an innovative pivoting pilaster. The pilaster is ‘squeezed’ allowing normally opening inward doors to be pulled outwards in the event of an emergency at the airport. View these here.Challenges:To ensure that the project programme was adhered to, Sertus applied Lean manufacturing principles and came up with some unique efficiencies, for example combining the smoke damper and the environmental damper in one housing to reduce installation time on site, and to reduce the amount of builders' work for the client.Outcome:This project is a large phased scheme over 4 blocks and was finalised in 2021. Sertus manufactured & supplied products swiftly and efficiently, allowing this project to be completed well on time.

M&E contractor ‘The All Group’ designed 2.5km RAYCHEM of HWAT-M self-regulating cables in a single pipe hot water system throughout the hotel. Controlled by RAYCHEM HWAT-ECO smart controllers, the system provided the benefits of energy efficiency plus savings in material costs, labour and space. Pipe freeze protection was delivered using 5.5 km of RAYCHEM WinterGard, controlled with RAYCHEM RAYSTAT-ECO-10. Underfloor heating was installed in the bedrooms, using RAYCHEM T2Red with T2Reflecta. In addition, RAYCHEM T2Quicknet 160 was installed in the en-suite bathrooms and the hotel’s luxurious spa.

The new psychiatric center in Skejby, Denmark is a construction project for 1.3 billion DKK. The center is part of the New University Hospital in Aarhus and includes an adult and a child psychiatric ward with ambulatories and rooms totaling approx. 40,000 m² and an autonomous forensic psychiatry of approx. 10,000 m². The center is approx. 50,000 m² and replaced in November 2019, the over 150-year-old psychiatric hospital in Risskov, Denmark.The project builds on the urban structure organized in a city's image, with the city's hierarchy of neighborhoods, streets and squares. One of the overall goals for the new psychiatric center was to integrate as a natural part of the existing hospital and surrounding countryside.Hudevad has been part of the planning process together with Arkitema Architects, where the focus has been on integratable heating solutions, which naturally fit into the design of the building. Among other radiators, Hudevad has supplied Integral Bench, a combined radiator and bench, which is installed in the individual rooms. Placed under the low windows, Integral Bench takes centre stage and allows residents to enjoy the changing weather and the countryside outside from the comfort of the room.
