The existing ornate and decorative features of the hotel, meant that the fire curtains needed to integrate with the existing parts of the building that were remaining. This included a four sided, marble clad atrium in one of the main entrance halls, which covers two floors. There were four fire curtains installed around the first floor of the atrium therefore reinstating fire separation between floors. Fire curtains offering up to 3 hours fire resistance were also installed in the new hotel kitchens, preventing fire from spreading from kitchen areas to the public dining rooms and bar.

The former Mardyke Estate in Rainham, east London, has undergone a substantial transformation to make way for a new residential development, Orchard Village. Circle Housing has invested £80million to redevelop the old housing estate, creating 555 new homes to meet local affordable housing needs. Designed by PRP Architects and developed in its entirety by Willmott Dixon, the project specified AluK aluminium curtain walling, window and door systems throughout all four phases, three of which have been completed.

When refurbishing a building in the heart of London, innovative building solutions and construction processes are necessary. That’s why Schüco FWS 50 curtain walling and AWS 70.HI side-hung windows were specified for the renovation of University College London Hospital’s (UCLH) Ear, Nose & Throat Department.Being located in such a central and busy area, it was decided that a prefabricated façade system would be the ideal solution. The key challenge was for this system to be installed as a complete unitised panel on site while still using a standard stick system.The building façade comprises 28 prefabricated bays, each 4 m wide, constructed as hybrids of traditional hand-made bricks, precast concrete, aluminium and glass.

Technal Systems showcased on Materials Innovation FactoryAdvanced glazing systems from TECHNAL have been utilised by Dortech Architectural Systems Ltd for the construction of the new Materials Innovation Factory (MIF) located within the University of Liverpool's "Knowledge Quarter" - helping to create an important research facility for the development of new technologies. The research building, completed in 2017, is visually more striking thanks to the way the project architects, Fairhursts Design Group have combined different systems to create the main facade, as well as a link structure to the existing building, further enhancing the appearance of the curtain walling in one area with the use of bespoke feature caps. The 11,600m2, multi-million pound project has been led by BAM Construction, with Dortech Architectural Systems Ltd having designed, manufactured and installed a package of product.

Whilst certainly not the most iconic or largest project the A1S Group has ever been involved with, 125 Deansgate in Manchester in many ways represents for us "a bread and butter project", the like of which we are involved with throughout the UK on an almost monthly basis. Despite the doom and gloom of office rationalisation during the pandemic, high end office new build and cat A and B refurbishment continues to be one of our strongest sectors. We have completed literally hundreds of office projects over the last decade including We Work premises throughout London and the UK, Goldmann Sachs, Barclays at Canary Wharf and Norfolk House in St James Square, London. Fire and smoke curtains continue to be integral to modern office design, allowing for more open spaces within the building's wider fire strategy framework. The A1S Group manufactured, installed 54 Flameshield fire curtains, all with smoke seals and multi function panels. For us, the 125 Deansgate building was noteworthy as it was the first time that we installed our high performance Flameshield EW120 fire curtain to provide a minimum of EW90 compartmentation. We also manufactured and installed our a Flameshield fire and smoke curtain system to provide 120 minutes integrity and 15 kw/m2 to protect the lift and lift shaft. This striking building is clad in a rich red terracotta with 12 storeys of flexible office and retail space all achieving BREEAM 'excellent' and is now considered one of Manchester's premier offices. The A1S Group have a long term planned preventative maintenance in schedule in place to comply with the 2005 Regulatory Reform Order.

Coopers installed FireMaster fire curtains with smoke control over the lift door openings on each of the ground and upper seven floors and two on the basement so a total of forty eight curtains. An important part of the design of the building on the ground and first floor was to subtly integrate the fire curtain headbox and side guides into the lift opening.

The Coopers FireMaster, closed and open Concertina fire curtain is a perfect solution when requiring fire compartmentation around a staircase as it offers a virtual firewall creating a lobby, once the curtain has been deployed, with more than 3 hours integrity. A total of five FireMaster Concertinas were installed between floors 11 and 15 in this large office space. These curtains allow for the open plan flow of the building to remain as intended and prevent the spread of fire through the building whilst providing compartmentation.

Coopers innovative FireMaster Plus2 fire curtains was also used to create tenable zones as the product offers both integrity and radiance performance. The use of all the fire curtains allowed the open plan design of the museum to be realised by offering fire compartmentation and boundary protection. A total of 20 Simplex and Duplex FireMaster Horizontal fire curtains and 110 FireMaster and FireMaster Plus fire curtains have been installed in the museum by Coopers Fire UAE partners, Dosteen Doors.

The architects Willmore Isles of Bristol had to work closely with the local planners to demonstrate a design for the Pittville Campus which was sympathetic to the surrounding buildings and would sit comfortably within the streetscape. AluK aluminium window and door systems were integral to that design, providing a timeless, contemporary aesthetic which suited both the refurbished and new build areas of the development. Products included; 58BW top swing casement windows for the 577 student rooms, GTB55 TB commercial entrance doors and fire exits door for the eight separate accommodation blocks, and SL52 curtain walling for the refurbished communal areas.

The University of Nottingham’s Advanced Manufacturing Building used TECHNAL GEODE MX 52 Visible Grid Curtain Walling, SOLEAL FY 65 Windows and PY 55 Doors. Selected by architects Bond Bryan, the TECHNAL aluminium systems offered a cost-effective, thermally efficient solution that was backed by outstanding technical support both prior and during construction. The state-of-the-art training and research facility, located at the entrance to the Jubilee Campus, has enhanced the University of Nottingham’s Faculty of Engineering. The building features teaching facilities, laboratories and workshops, and houses the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre in Manufacturing Technology.

Bradstowe House is a fascinating opportunity to not only rescue a historic building but also do it in such a way that will make the property sustainable. Architectural glazing systems by Kawneer, including aluminium heritage-style GT70S windows appropriate for the conservation area, have helped to transform the façade of an old radio and television factory into the new four-storey London Screen Academy building at Highbury Grove in Islington, north London.Kawneer’s GT70S slimline renovation open-in windows were the “focal new element” of the renovation of the façade of the four-storey building at Highbury Grove in Islington, north London, where Kawneer’s AA®100 zone-drained curtain walling and series AA®190 TB entrance doors also feature.The GT70S windows with narrow sightlines were installed over 12 weeks by a team of eight from specialist sub-contractor and Kawneer dealer JPJ Installations throughout the 8,050m2 building, with the AA®100 curtain walling, which also has narrow 50mm sightlines, used on the rear elevation and the series AA®190 TB severe-duty welded doors used on the main entrance.This cutting-edge new free school by the Department for Education provides world-class film industry focused vocational training, including behind-the-camera roles, costume design, production management, distribution and marketing, alongside a broader curriculum, for 17 to 19-year-olds.

Helping ensure the ongoing safe and reliable operation of any moveable wall system, as well as protecting the acoustic performance, Style has responded to a growing need for scheduled maintenance and repairs by appointing a new service and aftercare director. Sjors Kuijs joins Style from thyssenkrupp Elevator where he held various responsibilities for the company’s service business and brings extensive expertise in national service and support networks. Style offers a comprehensive maintenance support service – whether it’s for a routine visit or the emergency repair of an partitioning wall system.

Facade systems from Technal helped the University of Leeds to set a new benchmark for student accommodation in the city. More than 3,00sqm of Technal glazing systems for the Charles Morris Halls were fabricated and installed, and the £21m student halls of residence comprises of two half-hexagon buildings sited around a central landscaped courtyard, providing 457 hotel-style study bedrooms.The challenging glazing specification involved the construction of large oriel glazing bays that project 300mm in front of the cladding, and contrasting projecting bays to the corners of the two buildings. The oriel bays provide a different architectural feature and an alternative to more conventional recessed panels of glazing. The floor to ceiling glazed units, which maximise natural light were constructed using aluminium curtain walling inset with top-hung casement windows. These were fabricated and installed into the bays in more than 30 different sizes to create a less regimented appearance for the building envelope. Laminated glass with coloured interlayers adds further interest to each facade - in panels of green where the glazing is set into red brickwork on the external elevations and orange for the courtyard elevations to complement the cream-coloured brick cladding. Long runs of curtain walling using 1500mm modules enclose the common room and the link bridge between the two accommodation blocks. The window units in the common room are linked to the air conditioning system, which allows them to open automatically according to CO2 levels. All other opening units on this scheme are operated by low-level levers to allow anyone, regardless of any disability to open the windows.

TECHNAL GLAZING SYSTEMS PROTECT THE 47TH G7 SUMMIT VENUE FROM COASTAL STORMSThe stunning Carbis Bay Hotel in Cornwall, venue for the 47th G7 Summit, had a host of tried and tested TECHNAL glazing and curtain walling systems installed, all specified for their outstanding weather performance.Exeter-based Harmony Architectural Aluminium, a specialist glazing fabricator and contractor well experienced in helping develop high-end properties around the windswept coasts of Devon and Cornwall, designed and delivered the Dualframe 75 Si, Elegance 52 curtain walling, Crown Sliding Folding doors and other products in a £400K contract for the Carbis Bay Hotel. Having employed TECHNAL systems on projects from Bristol down to Cornwall for more than three decades, Harmony proposed a package of systems including the Dualframe 75 Si doors and windows to create eight beachfront lodges and a three-storey wedding venue at the landmark destination.  The Carbis Bay lodges and beautiful wedding venue are a stand-out project for us: not just because of the challenges to the location, literally right next to the sea, but because it also demonstrates TECHNAL’s value as a one-stop shop. We have the range of systems to fulfil any contract from volume housing through to the ‘Grand Designs’ type properties and commercial work.For locations such as this, systems like Dualframe, C160 Sliders and Crown Sliding Folding doors work at the scale to maximise the views while delivering the necessary resistance to wind, air and water.The fabricator, which operates a 20,000 square feet facility at Pinhoe, put forward the TECHNAL systems for the prestige project, primarily on the basis of their excellent weather performance and resistance to the aggressive marine environment. While all the systems offer a stylish appearance, the Crown Sliding Folding and C160 Lift and Slide doorsets also provided the benefit of permitting taller than normal opening heights.We were one of three companies invited to meet the owner of the Carbis Bay Hotel, Steve Baker, and his project manager, Mark Senton, following a recommendation from one of our clients in Cornwall.  We then put forward the Dualframe and other TECHNAL products on the basis of the level of support, as well as performance, the manufacturer offers.  I have been using TECHNAL systems since 1989 for contracts across the South West including schools, hospitals and other PFI projects.Harmony AA Construction of the MUV (Multi Utility Venue) building and the eight lodges was split into two phases, but ended up running concurrently: which increased the logistical challenge as the hotel remained open through the year-long period of works – including for weddings on the beach.  The fact that the buildings are right down at the level of the beach inevitably increases the glazing systems’ exposure to salt spray as well as driving rain when the weather is bad, so we relied on TECHNAL’s technical department to supply all of the relevant testing certificates to verify the corrosion resistance, wind pressure ratings and other specification requirements. There were a lot of meetings regarding this project, while deliveries to our Pinhoe plant near Exeter were kept up throughout.Harmony AAHarmony’s package for the Carbis Bay project included the design, manufacture and installation of 29 sets of two or three panel C160 Sliders: all 2700mm high, installed in the seaward facing elevations of the eight luxury lodges. Accommodating up to eight people, these also feature Dualframe 75 Si entrance screens, into which the client installed timber doors.The ground floor to the MUV building is given over to three retail units, the entrance to each of which is formed of a Crown Sliding Folding doorset standing 2600mm high. On the floor above are guest bedrooms with seven sets of 2800mm tall C160 Sliders, as well as Dualframe residential doors, giving access onto the balconies.The top floor of the venue then offers panoramic views of the bay through a series of Elegance 52 screens, with automatic opening, top-hung vents providing easily controllable ventilation while the glazing throughout is SKN 176 solar control. The curtain walling includes a run that is faceted to follow the curve of the building’s end wall, while more C160 Sliders are set behind ‘Juliette’ balconies to open out onto the stunning seascape view.Stylish in design while offering multiple opening configurations, the TECHNAL Dualframe 75 Si range is proving very popular across many sectors, including social housing and education. Not only does the uniquely designed polyamide break help it offer U-values down to 0.9 W/m2K, but Dualframe was the first aluminium system to achieve an A++ Window Energy Rating with its tilt before turn window. This luxury home was designed to have fully concealed blinds in every window. The owners were enthusiastic to design a home that was the best to the last detail. Blinds and curtains are controlled using Lutron® and were installed using the Blindspace® concealment products. Bespoke electric curtains were included to provide softness and the fully concealed blinds were used to control the light and privacy. Through careful planning from the outset of the project, the inclusion of concealed blinds has achieved the best end result. Dark-coloured fabrics have been used where maximum visibility was desired but softer white-toned used in bath and dressing rooms. Bedrooms and media room have been supplied using dark-coloured blackout material to make a statement when used.

The headquarters of companies are usually established in city centres close to important transport links. The natural landscape and the wide horizon perspective are not usually associated with office buildings. Press Glass’s ambition was to create a modern headquarters on a green plateau, which would express the dynamic nature of the company and, at the same time, provide employees with contact with nature.The award winning project was developed with large glass panes around the building and elements of curved glass all framed using Aluprof's MB-SR50N EFEKT capless curtain walling, MB86 windows and doors and MB-77HS lift and slide door systems.Architect: Konior Studio

Architectural glazing systems by Kawneer were specified as a “key aspect” of the new regional head office of British Sugar’s parent company, the FTSE 25 Associated British Foods (ABF), for their pedigree and quality.CPMG Architects selected products from all of Kawneer’s portfolio for the building on a 4.5-acre site at Cygnet Business Park, Hampton, Peterborough, which would enable the relocation of almost 400 people from ABF businesses locally (AB Sugar, British Sugar, AB Mauri, ABF Ingredients and ABF) with the addition of purpose-built conference and training facilities and a showcase central reception area. Kawneer’s aluminium AA®100 SSG (Structurally Silicone Glazed) curtain walling features on the ground floor reception, meeting/conference spaces and south-facing restaurant/café while AA®100 mullion-drained curtain walling has been used on the first and second floor open-plan offices of the three-storey building.In addition, the 5,755m2 (GIA) building features ultra-thermally efficient AA®720 doors, large (3m high by 9m wide) AA®3572 sliding doors and over-sized (2.4m by 0.7m) AA®720 parallel opening windows, all installed by approved specialist sub-contractor Norman & Underwood.

Coopers installed and commissioned two FireMaster® Plus fire curtains, the first to protect the property from fire and smoke migrating from the kitchen whilst the second to protect the internal balcony from smoke and fire travelling between floors. Both fire curtains provide 2 hours fire and insulation zone protection and were installed into the ceiling to remain hidden from view until deployed by a fire alarm.

Working in collaboration with façade specialist Dane Architectural enabled the design to be developed towards a light weight facade solution that combines GRC fin shaped columns and feature beams fixed directly over areas of the curtain wall grid system at locations where insulated panels were present.This strategy had several advantages, in the first instance a weather tight structure was provided early on in the programme, whilst the GRC facade option provided a much lighter solution that provided significant savings in both cost and time. The access strategy, based on mast climber platforms adapted to include lifting beams, enabled glazing and GRC panels to be hoisted swiftly into position.

The extended structure of the Isaac Newton Building in Lincoln houses the Schools of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Physics which offer unrivalled scientific and engineering facilities for students. This includes new seminar rooms and computer labs in addition to state-of-the-art technology and research rooms, complete with a semi-anechoic chamber.Playing a significant role in creating the curved appearance of the building was our visible grid aluminium curtain walling. This durable and versatile system can be applied to flat or faceted facades and is available in a choice of glazing gaskets and larger glass sizes. Aluminium windows were also installed throughout the building for modern design and complete weather protection.

The landmark Health Innovation One building is an innovation hub offering co-location space for external organisations as well as being the new home for Lancaster University’s Medical School and Division of Health Research. The space is designed to encourage collaboration, where external organisations can draw upon the University’s expertise to address significant health challenges and improve health and wealth outcomes in the region and beyond.Architects John McAslan + Partners sought to realise the University’s ambition to establish itself as a major international presence in the field of Health and Medicine through the design of this new HIC. JMP’s campus masterplan will bring together businesses, the NHS, students and academics from a broad range of disciplinary backgrounds. Central to this campus is the Innovation Hub, representing phase one of the development.The scheme comprises a café, quiet reading areas, private meeting rooms, open breakout zones and a business lounge for more formal conversations. Close consultation with the University’s Faculty of Health and Medicine has resulted in a scheme that offers maximum flexibility, the promotion of interdisciplinary working and collaboration, the provision of exceptional working and learning environments, and a holistic building design that is sustainable and energy efficient, targeting an ‘Outstanding’ BREEAM standard.To achieve this performance for the £3M glazing package, fabricator Alucraft working to main contractor BAM Construct, utilised Metal Technology’s System 17 Curtain Walling in a bronze anodised finish and from our Thermal ranges, System 5-20D Doors and 5-20 windows.

Our range of products meant all of the fire curtain requirements were met and the fire regulations could be adhered to keep the occupants of the building safe. Coopers FireMaster Concertina is a great way to offer compartmentation between floors and was installed because there were no columns at the atrium to install side guides and there is no smoke extraction system on the atrium so functional gaps were not allowed.

Spire Healthcare has recently invested £63 million in building a brand new flagship hospital in Manchester. YewdaleMovatrack® cubicle tracking, curved YewdaleVitesse® 6200 curtain tracks and YewdaleVitesse® 8500 electric curtain tracking products were specified. The extension and refurbishment of these offices needed high-quality systems befitting their prestigious location adjacent to Windsor Castle and the listed Eton Central Station.The Windsor Dials complex comprises two buildings, Windsor One and Two. Building one had a double-height entrance installed and a two-storey glazed extension added to the roof. A double-height entrance was also created in building two with a single-storey extension to the roof. The glazed extensions provide the offices with views of Windsor Castle and the surrounding area.Hale Architects designed the project with Corley Woolley as the main contractor. Anglian Architectural fabricated and installed the building envelope. It features Schüco FSW 60 and FWS 50 S curtain walling, providing the contemporary aesthetic the client requested. The project also used Schüco door systems, including the ADS 65 HD and ASE 60 lift-and-slide doors.

800 square meters of Black Webnet creating an innovative Webnet Green Wall ,providing shade and year-round temperature control for this contemporary office building.The innovative design features our Webnet stainless steel mesh system suspended from roof supports to create a strong, secure and long-life structure for plants to climb up. Planters at first floor level encircle the building to provide low level greening, as well as a base for the climbers.Bringing nature to this urban landscape, the green wall not only makes the office look spectacular, but also provides a habitat for wildlife and significantly improves the building’s carbon footprint. The shade and evaporative cooling of the plants also help to cool the building in summer and insulate it in winter, helping to improve thermal efficiency and save energy costs.

Constructed within the Mossley Hill Conservation Area, the parkland surrounding the University of Liverpool's Greenbank student residences was gifted to the university by the Rathbone family in 1939, and still offers a unique environment today. Crucially the designs for new buildings, including use of Technal's aluminium building systems respond sympathetically to the verdant setting. The Greenbank Residences replace outdated buildings and have been arranged around three landscaped courtyards, rising from five to eight storeys in height, creating over 1,370 new en-suite bedrooms. This project utilised 2,000 m2 of aluminium curtain walling, windows and doors - all of which offer high thermal performance and are finished in matt Anthracite Grey polyester powder coat.

The 110m, 29-storey curved on plan Westmark Tower is the tallest residential tower to have been completed in central London in 2021. Part of Berkeley Homes Central London’s prestigious West End Gate development in Marylebone, it features more than 14,000m2 of unitised curtain wall designed and supplied by aluminium fenestration specialists AluK and installed by envelope contractors Martifer. What makes this project really stand out is the collaborative approach that was demonstrated by AluK and the other consultants involved from the outset. With Berkeley at the centre of the process, the technical and commercial elements of the façade were successfully de-risked at pre-tender stage because AluK were able to work directly with lead architect Squire & Partners, delivery architect Design Delivery Unit (DDU), façade consultants Cladtech Associates and structural engineers WSP on a RIBA 4 system design for the unitised envelope. The challenge for AluK was to work with DDU to deliver a design that was true to the architect’s original intent whilst addressing the technical issues of a curved on plan façade from the second to 29th floor. All the unitised cells needed to be dead loaded back to a post tensioned concrete frame with a 3-dimensional floor bracket, whilst catering for the varying facets of the façade.The final unitised solution features more than 2200 unitised cells of three principal configurations. Each floor comprises: a vision cell, typically housing AluK’s concealed vent and full height glass panes, a panel cell, specifically designed to house specialist internal framework to carry articulated GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) feature piers and spandrels, and a recessed balcony cell with an integrated floating glass balustrade.With 36 different angles to overcome in a faceted design ranging from 0° to 15°, AluK developed a series of common aluminium extrusions to close the joints and reduce the number of profiles required. The horizontal stack joint uses an aluminium profile to carry the gasket and avoid the incidence of crimping as the cells are stacked around the building structure. What is also significant is that every cell connection provides four lines of system seal to ensure that the façade meets the stringent Cladtech performance specification and the CWCT Sequence B test.AluK’s system, extruded from 6063 T6 alloy, extracted benefits from both a mitred corner and a square cut system by creating a hybrid to suit both the client’s aesthetic desire for a mitred joint to the corners and Martifer’s manufacturing requirements of a square cut for economy.AluK also extruded tailored aluminium bracketry from a structural 6082 T6 alloy which was capable of supporting the system weight and allowing for 3-dimensional adjustment for precise installation.From the onset of the project, the Berkeley director team set out a time and design model of early engagement, specialist designers and fabricators all within a clear programme. This also included a series of productive workshops sharing client expectations and considerations. AluK not only facilitated these meetings but also bought into the collaborative ethos and contributed to a highly successful project for Berkeley.AluK’s designers are all from a fabrication/installation background and, as such, they design a value engineered solution from the outset. Part of this was using 14,000m2 of AluK’s AW86 unitised curtain walling system with minimal bespoke profiles and gaskets, yet it meets every challenge the project presented whilst offering a significant cost reduction in metal and accessories compared to the original specification in a competitor’s system. As part of the project team, AluK worked collaboratively alongside consultants Squire & Partners (concept architect), Buro Happold (thermal and acoustics), WSP (structures), Design Delivery Unit (delivery architect) and Cladtech (façade consultant). The façade design meets the thermal efficiency requirements of the building at 0.95W/m2K, as a weighted average. Using a 43dB Rw(+Ctr) acoustic glass, it also meets the sound reduction targets. Because AluK was involved at such an early stage in the project, the complete RIBA Stage 4 system design enabled façade contractors Martifer to realise significant cost savings for their tender and several months of time saving against their usual post-tender design and iteration phase. The Warwick Arts Centre involved a complete upgrade to the original building; Absorb-R SofTone Fabric Panels and Acoustic Flooring Systems...As well as adding a new-build that houses three HD digital auditoria, a large ground floor gallery to exhibit contemporary art, sculpture and photography, plus a spacious new-look foyer.We were contracted to supply and install an Acoustic Fabric paneling system to reduce reverberation and an Acoustic Flooring system to provide anti vibration within three Auditorium Centres.Within all three of the auditoriums of the newly constructed Arts Centre at Warwick University, installed various systems, providing solutions to both the Sound Absorption and Soundproofing requirements. In relation to the Sound Absorption we supplied and installed Soundis Absorb-R SofTone Panels (commonly known as acoustic fabric panels) These were installed on both the side walls along with the back wall of each auditorium providing full coverage of the walls enhancing the performance of the product improving the clarity of sounds emitted within the auditoriums.The second requirement within each of the auditoriums was to provide a solution to the Soundproofing which is where we provided a Soundis Cinesystem – Dry. This system allowed us to provide great acoustic & antivibration performance whilst ensuring the installation was quick to allow us to achieve the programme dates due to the system comprising of elastomeric isolator blocks overlaid with Dry Screed Panels. The fact of this system being completely dry with no concrete or screed elements negates the need for long drying time potentials causing delays on these types of projects.All installation was carried out by UK Acoustic Systems

Coopers Fire installed a large, multi-faceted FireMaster Concertina Closed fire curtain on floor 12. The client utilising floors 12 and 13 wanted to keep an open plan feel between floors to allow a more free flowing environment for the staff. To achieve this, a bespoke staircase was designed connecting the floors. The spiral staircase was a major feature on floor 12 and meant that staff were able to move freely between floors 12 and 13 without using the lifts.

Delivered an elegant Green (Living) Wall at the iconic One Hyde Park building using a a combination of Jakob’s high-quality stainless-steel ropes, rods and planters.Our green wall has been installed to the eastern edge of the One Hyde Park building; where it lines the route of a new pedestrian walkway (Serpentine Walk), just a few steps away from Harrods. The wall creates a stunning green corridor between Hyde Park and the nearby Harrods store and 80 luxury apartments.The Jakob Green Wall system was chosen due to its aesthetic appeal suiting the architectural design of the building and the 21st century trend of city greening.The green wall provides both a visual and physical link between the expansive open spaces of Hyde Park and the busy street scene along Knightsbridge. The greening is also a taster of the views from the opulent penthouse suites above.Alongside the LED lighting, the green wall makes the building unique and distinctive. Ensuring that it looks great, both day and night.
