Discreetly elegant, with a luxurious presence, KEUCO's EDITION 400 accessories set special accents with their superb design and high quality finishes. Hotel Arcadeon calls itself a "house of science and further training" and is known in the business community in the region for its generous and exceptionally designed seminar rooms. With its rich offering, the hotel doesn't just attract overnight guests or seminar participants to its dining facilities. In actual fact, for guests from towns in the vicinity the hotel has established itself as "Hagen's living room".

BDP approached Furnitubes with a concept seating design for the redevelopment of Thomas More Square. The designs were characterised by a complex arrangement of intersecting angled planes to fit into dedicated alcoves in the raised planters. From this concept Furnitubes designers developed the complex geometry by 3d modelling each of the 6 unique seating structures, and a complementary large scale wall-top platform. Seating was used in mirrored pairs either side of the main walkway and included flat benches, and seats with single plane and compound angle backrests, all custom-designed and made to fit the challenging levels of the site.

Geberit’s Sovent fitting, used for the first time on an English building. A revolutionary system, the Geberit Sovent negates the need for two stack drainage, streamlining systems for tall-buildings of this nature. In addition to Sovent, Geberit Silent-db20, a waste water pipe with built in sound insulation, was installed to ensure peace and quiet for the hotel’s guests, Geberit Mapress press-fit pipe system provides general plumbing and Geberit HDPE; a long-lasting pipe with low environmental impact; delivers above-ground drainage. Plumbing systems were specified and installed by Sharpe Mechanical Services.

Howe Green’s 5000 Series access covers were chosen by interior specialists, Tekne Shopfitting Limited to provide access in The Tramshed, a Grade II listed building in London. The aluminium access covers were selected to provide a reliable route to essential underfloor building services in the Tramshed’s public washrooms and busy kitchens. Ensuring an excellent aesthetic finish, Tekne fitted four covers and inlaid each frame with resin flooring to match the surrounding area. The covers were double-sealed for use over foul drainage, with a third seal fitted to help prevent the ingress of dirt.

Products Used:One of the largest projects we have worked with Vox Ignis on was the fit-out of a 92-room luxury boutique hotel in the City of London that required an Emergency Voice Communication System. Set in the heart of the West End, Duke Street is a high end area of commercialised buildings and expensive flats. Some of the listed properties on the street date back as early as the 18th century. Alumasc Rainwater’s range fitted perfectly in this setting. Painted Cast Iron and Heritage Cast Aluminium were specified by Latitude Architects.“The main objective was to provide and produce material as close to the original,” says Alumasc Rainwater. “Bespoke castellated guttering was installed with special curled ear belts to secure the pipes. Together they provided an exact replication of style to the original. We also custom-made guttering that was designed to fit at a specific angle and level of the building.”

SAS International collaborated with architects TP Bennett to deliver metal ceiling solutions to meet CBRE’s unique demands on this CAT B fit-out. SAS330i LED noggin lights were selected to provide a seamless butt-joint solution between panels and gridwork. This effect ensures there are no gaps between light and ceiling. Manufactured from extruded aluminum profiles, each light was polyester powder-coated at SAS’s factory to ensure flawless colour consistency across the space. BAM construction approached Planet to supply and install interior glass partitioning as part of a Category B fit-out of Network Rail's new HQ. To ensure outstanding sound attenuation, we fitted p100 double glazed partitioning and IsoClear glass doors. To ensure time and cost efficiency, our design team worked with BAM and GMW Architects to ensure the right choice of standard deflection heads and allow for +/- 25mm movement rather than designing and manufacturing a multitude of bespoke deflection heads. We also installed p20 single glazed demountable partitioning for a range if brightly coloured 'eco cabins' dotted throughout the building.
