Salcombe residence stands up to coastal conditions featuring Reynaers aluminium door and window systems

The goal for this residential dwelling in Salcombe was to create a completely unique space, nestled into the cliff-side to provide a feeling of comfort and seclusion, while maximising the views over the estuary. To achieve this, ten Reynaers aluminium lift-and-slide doors, alongside aluminium windows and single-entrance doors were installed. The aluminium frames provide the strength and stability required for large expanses of glazing, while delivering required pascal ratings to resolutely stand up to enduring winds and harsh coastal conditions. Pre-anodized paint adds further durability to protect the property from the elements.

A beautiful Yorkshire family home has found a new lease of life with the addition of aluminium doors and windows replacing the existing timber frames. Achieved using Reynaers bi-folding and sliding doors; CF 68 and CP 130, as well as door and window systems; CS 68 and ES 50. Alongside striking visuals, the unique design of the frames makes for excellent performance characteristics, meeting the highest requirements when it comes to insulation, stability and safety, while perfectly framing the garden views. Elsewhere, aluminium windows have improved day-to-day usability, with sliding opening options reducing draughts and improving ventilation.

The intricate facade on Garden Halls was inspired by the existing large-scale Victorian and Edwardian buildings that populate Bloomsbury, such as the Russell Square Hotel and Victoria House. The windows employ a very thin profile section, achieved with Reynaers CS 38-SL systems, and have a decorated, perforated aluminium screen to the side. This uses an insulated panel that can be opened from the inside for ventilation. The lower level screens are bronze-coloured anodised aluminium, while the upper screens are powder coated.

Onyx Apartments is an 11-storey building located on the Regent’s Canal banks, offering 117 bespoke homes. The development was designed as a modern, elegant and professional living environment. Comfort and safety were top priorities in bringing this project to life and Reynaers products were used to realise those aims. CS 86 ‘High Insulated’ aluminium window system offers an energy-efficient option, and CP 155 ‘Lift and Slide’ aluminium door system creates maximum glazed areas while also maintaining comfort. Onyx Apartments is a great example of combining elements of luxury and practicality, bringing a fresh perspective to the area.

The project also spectacularly showcases our CS 68 and CS 77 aluminium windows and doors, helping the build to achieve its BREEAM status with their excellent performance credentials and sustainability benefits.

This office building was designed as part of the long and large redevelopment saga; Brindleyplace. While the building is a truly modern statement, the anodised frames and fins to the glazing system are not simply powder coated but vary in colour; this gives them a warm and natural appearance, and so reflects the warmth of the brickwork of Brindleyplace’s Victorian buildings. The Reynaers systems used on the façades – a customised solution based on the curtain wall systems CW 50 and CW 60, and CS 68 doors in bronze anodized aluminium – form part of a bespoke curtain wall design.

The next generation of CS 38 is now available from Reynaers – Slim Line 38 (SL 38) is a highly insulated inward and outward opening aluminium window and door system, that combines elegance and comfort with a unique design. The special slender steel look offers the perfect windows and doors for modern architecture and the renovation of steel-frames, respecting the original design but offering a thermally improved solution.
Large-framed Crittall Windows complement the industrial aesthetic and gives the building a unique character and identity of its own. The fabricator on the project was AWS Turner Fain Ltd, part of AWS Group.
Hotel Sir Joan featuring Reynaers CF 77 folding aluminium door system

Luxury boutique hotel Sir Joan, located in Ibiza Town, houses 12 hotel rooms and 2 rooftop suites with private pools and stunning views of the port of Ibiza. The black and white façade combines traditional and current Ibizan architecture. The openings in the façade offer privacy to guests and create natural ventilation and lighting. This stunning aesthetic was achieved using Reynaers CF 77 and CP 155(-LS) sliding and folding door systems, and CS 68 aluminium window systems.

Underneath the curved, zinc roof, the 3 homes have been designed to maximize light and space. Designed to bring serenity in the bustle of the city, each floor connects to the outside with large windows and terraces. Percy Lane features Reynaers CF 77 and CP 155(-LS) sliding and folding door systems, and CS 77 aluminium window systems.

Wembley Park is one of the UK’s largest urban regeneration schemes, offering a vibrant hub where people want to live, companies want to grow, and neighbourhoods come alive. The project aims to make a feature of the iconic Wembley Stadium, as well as facilitating unrivalled views of across the site. Reynaers utilised systems that create a maximum presence of space and natural light, resulting in seamless integration between the indoor and outdoor environments. This was achieved using Reynaers CW 50 curtain walling system, and aluminium window and door systems; CS 77.

Kestrel Aluminium Systems worked closely with Atcost to ensure the successful delivery of their part of the re-development project. The contract saw the installation of the Kestrel’s 60mm window system, low rise curtain wall system and thermal commercial doors.

The upgrade to the Council’s Church Hill House and Orchard House buildings required alterations and extension works to provide new open-plan office space, a newly formed atrium, and new facades. Replacement of the existing old and rotten windows for new glazed units with high thermal and acoustic performance whilst maintaining the essential character of the buildings was essential. Kestrel Aluminium Systems worked closely with Axis Automatic Entrance Systems to ensure the successful delivery of their part of the refurbishment project of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The contract saw the installation of over 200 doorsets into the new hospital building, the design of which had been inspired by children associated with the hospital. Alder Hey is the first hospital in Europe to have sliding glass doors on every room and Axis Automatic needed a new section to help achieve this ambitious plan. Kestrel assisted by designing a new header section for the project.
