Walsall based fabricators Aluminium Glazing Solutions (Midlands) Ltd won the contract to manufacture and install Kestrel Aluminium’s curtain wall and window systems for a prestige development of five and six bedroom detached houses on the Coton House Estate, near Rugby.

Shelforce, a leading window and door manufacturer based in Erdington has fabricated the Kestrel Aluminium windows and doors for Birmingham City Council’s first ever modular home.

Leicester based fabricators SB Aluminium Services were key to the success of the transformation of the offices of Crowland Cranes in Peterborough. The makeover of the business premises was driven by the desire to create a modern and striking frontage to the offices. Kestrel Aluminium System’s low rise curtain wall, 60mm windows and commercial doors were specified throughout the building.

Grimsby based fabricators Fabrique Specialist Glazing were a perfect choice to complete all the fenestration needs for a brand new Holiday Inn Express in Grimsby Town Centre. Fabrique approached their aluminium supplier Kestrel Aluminium Systems to assist them with the project and the two companies worked in partnership for the entire project, from product specification to delivery.

Irwin Place is a stunning coastal property on the east coast of Guernsey. The intricate facade on Garden Halls was inspired by the existing large-scale Victorian and Edwardian buildings that populate Bloomsbury, such as the Russell Square Hotel and Victoria House. The windows employ a very thin profile section, achieved with Reynaers CS 38-SL systems, and have a decorated, perforated aluminium screen to the side. This uses an insulated panel that can be opened from the inside for ventilation. The lower level screens are bronze-coloured anodised aluminium, while the upper screens are powder coated.

Bristol has a brand-new luxury car showroom with the help of HTL Windows & Doors Ltd. The new showroom houses the most prestigious automotive marques in a state-of-the-art facility. HTL won the contract to supply and fit Kestrel Aluminium System’s 60mm windows, thermal framing and commercial doors throughout the building.

The Curtain is a beautiful industrial jewel located on the site of a former 1970s office block. Leading aluminium systems company Reynaers has helped to develop this complete new building into a beautiful industrial jewel.

Tamworth based fabricators Window and Door Maintenance Services have completed phase two of the development of Ashlawn School based in Rugby. The extension of the Expressive Arts Centre provides a new centre for students and teachers to collaborate on creative projects in state-of-the-art facilities. Kestrel Aluminium System’s products specified included both thermal and non-thermal ground floor treatment, commercial doors and the 60mm window suite.

Patshull Activity Centre, a volunteer run Scout campsite that has played host to tens of thousands of children across the Black Country, South Staffordshire, and Shropshire since before the First World War has undergone a comprehensive renovation and redevelopment. The renovation required the replacement of the existing windows and doors for new Kestrel Aluminium units with high thermal and acoustic performance whilst maintaining the essential character of the buildings.

Llanelli based Atcost Windows (Wales) Ltd won the contract to manufacture and install the glazing for the redevelopment of Oriel in Port Talbot. This striking development has provided 41 new affordable energy efficient homes situated above retail shops in the heart of the town centre. Kestrel Aluminium Systems worked closely with Atcost to ensure the successful delivery of their part of the re-development project. The contract saw the installation of the Kestrel’s 60mm window system, low rise curtain wall system and thermal commercial doors.

Contemporary Glass Structures were selected to manufacture and install a flush glazed mirror door into a 4th-floor terrace glass façade as part of extensive renovations of a commercial office building in the heart of Manchester’s professional district. Drawing on their experience in the fenestration industry Contemporary offered a bespoke solution and specified the Kestrel Aluminium residential door system as the base for the project.

Transforming the Jersey seafront with a touch of splendour, the Reynaers systems utilised include CW 86 and CW 50 curtain walling, as well as CS 68 and CS 77 aluminium windows and doors. The project also spectacularly showcases our CS 68 and CS 77 aluminium windows and doors, helping the build to achieve its BREEAM status with their excellent performance credentials and sustainability benefits.

Tucked away on the outskirts of Brigg, Lincolnshire, Scawby Brook is a carbon neutral, sustainable house that has been sensitively created for modern living and to complement the surrounding wooded setting. The home has featured on self-build TV show, Grand Designs.Designed by local architect Kate Kelly, the connection of the dwelling with nature was a key focus of the client's brief with the house featuring an abundance of glazing to refl­ect the natural environment and provide the best possible views of the rural landscape.A local project manager, Mike Hill was employed to deliver the project and source materials and labour from the local area. Mike specified Kestrel Aluminium window and door systems to provide a complete glazing solution for the project based on previous experience and the knowledge that this would oer the best solution in terms of the quality and budget demanded by the client.The multiple windows are a mixture of fixed or opening vents, with multi-point espagnolette locking PAS24 compliant security. Used in conjunction with low U-value double-glazed units achieving a U-Value of 1.2 W/m2K they ensure the building is safe, secure and energy efficient.

The goal for this residential dwelling in Salcombe was to create a completely unique space, nestled into the cliff-side to provide a feeling of comfort and seclusion, while maximising the views over the estuary. To achieve this, ten Reynaers aluminium lift-and-slide doors, alongside aluminium windows and single-entrance doors were installed. The aluminium frames provide the strength and stability required for large expanses of glazing, while delivering required pascal ratings to resolutely stand up to enduring winds and harsh coastal conditions. Pre-anodized paint adds further durability to protect the property from the elements.

The former Gaumont Palace Theatre, a grade II listed building had been given a second life to become the Ellen Terry building for Coventry University. Kestrel Aluminium together with HTL Windows and Doors took on the project to give the building a fresh look and combine the historic style with the modern touch. As the building is a remembrance from the golden age of cinema the vital part was to create an elegant run of doors which matched the original façade using modern, thermally broken commercial entrance doors.

Onyx Apartments is an 11-storey building located on the Regent’s Canal banks, offering 117 bespoke homes. The development was designed as a modern, elegant and professional living environment. Comfort and safety were top priorities in bringing this project to life and Reynaers products were used to realise those aims. CS 86 ‘High Insulated’ aluminium window system offers an energy-efficient option, and CP 155 ‘Lift and Slide’ aluminium door system creates maximum glazed areas while also maintaining comfort. Onyx Apartments is a great example of combining elements of luxury and practicality, bringing a fresh perspective to the area.

A beautiful Yorkshire family home has found a new lease of life with the addition of aluminium doors and windows replacing the existing timber frames. Achieved using Reynaers bi-folding and sliding doors; CF 68 and CP 130, as well as door and window systems; CS 68 and ES 50. Alongside striking visuals, the unique design of the frames makes for excellent performance characteristics, meeting the highest requirements when it comes to insulation, stability and safety, while perfectly framing the garden views. Elsewhere, aluminium windows have improved day-to-day usability, with sliding opening options reducing draughts and improving ventilation.

ARP manufactured a bespoke version of its Legacy heritage-style cast aluminium guttering for a unique house in Yorkshire.Oaklands, built by Cohesion Construction Services, is an entirely round house with an interior core, an outdoor dining area and a fire pit. The unique design presented ARP with a challenge to produce guttering for both the internal and external curved roofline. Following a complete site survey, ARP designed the radius guttering as a bespoke one-off within a tight four-week timeframe. Our team designed a bespoke rainwater system based on our Legacy cast aluminium guttering system, to the exact slate grey colour specified (RAL7015) with a fine finish to add texture. A bespoke mould was created as well as several samples to ensure a perfect fit. This was achieved on the first attempt to within a 2mm tolerance for the full radius, internal and external.Legacy cast aluminium gutters combine modern manufacturing techniques and materials with traditional style and durability. Manufactured using traditional castings as a perfect alternative to cast iron gutters, even on conservation, heritage and listed properties, the Legacy range is produced in five profiles and many sizes to replicate traditional cast iron profiles. During its long 40+ year lifespan, ARP Legacy gutter systems require little or no maintenance.Despite its striking modern design, the client nevertheless wanted to achieve a traditional style for the new-build property. Legacy guttering was matched with our Colonnade circular cast collared aluminium rainwater pipes, giving the house exterior a traditional design twist whilst retaining its modern aesthetic.“This has certainly been a very interesting and challenging project, with hardly a straight line or corner on the whole project,” says Giles White, MD of Cohesion Construction Services. “I have worked with ARP many times as my go-to roofline supplier, and I knew they could rise to the challenge of producing this radiused guttering. Devils Pit Farm is a detached farmhouse and is situated in the Blackdown Hills, an area of natural beauty near Taunton.The client had been experiencing problems with the existing uPVC gutter – it had begun to fail, and the joints had separated, which led to dampness creeping into the building, causing damage to the paintwork.The client was impressed after Mike from Simply Seamless Guttering (SSG) demonstrated the Mustang® Aluminium Seamless Gutter Machine.Mike from SSG visited the property to measure up and provide a quotation to replace the whole system, including aluminium downpipes. This was accepted, and shortly after, SSG installed the new rainwater system on-site.Mustang® Aluminium Seamless Guttering is a unique joint-less system and is the only seamless gutter system approved by the British Board of Agrément (BBA).Mustang gutters are roll-formed on-site in lengths of up to 30 metres with no joints, meaning no leaks, creating a neat, maintenance-free product of the highest quality that adds extra visual appeal with the additional peace of mind a premium product has been fitted. Kestrel Aluminium Systems worked closely with Axis Automatic Entrance Systems to ensure the successful delivery of their part of the refurbishment project of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The contract saw the installation of over 200 doorsets into the new hospital building, the design of which had been inspired by children associated with the hospital. Alder Hey is the first hospital in Europe to have sliding glass doors on every room and Axis Automatic needed a new section to help achieve this ambitious plan. Kestrel assisted by designing a new header section for the project.

This office building was designed as part of the long and large redevelopment saga; Brindleyplace. While the building is a truly modern statement, the anodised frames and fins to the glazing system are not simply powder coated but vary in colour; this gives them a warm and natural appearance, and so reflects the warmth of the brickwork of Brindleyplace’s Victorian buildings. The Reynaers systems used on the façades – a customised solution based on the curtain wall systems CW 50 and CW 60, and CS 68 doors in bronze anodized aluminium – form part of a bespoke curtain wall design.

Solihull’s Metropolitan Borough Council offices have been transformed with a major refurbishment. The upgrade to the Council’s Church Hill House and Orchard House buildings required alterations and extension works to provide new open-plan office space, a newly formed atrium, and new facades. Replacement of the existing old and rotten windows for new glazed units with high thermal and acoustic performance whilst maintaining the essential character of the buildings was essential. Kestrel Aluminium’s 60mm window system was chosen for the project because of its proven track record in this type of development.

Wembley Park is one of the UK’s largest urban regeneration schemes, offering a vibrant hub where people want to live, companies want to grow, and neighbourhoods come alive. The project aims to make a feature of the iconic Wembley Stadium, as well as facilitating unrivalled views of across the site. Reynaers utilised systems that create a maximum presence of space and natural light, resulting in seamless integration between the indoor and outdoor environments. This was achieved using Reynaers CW 50 curtain walling system, and aluminium window and door systems; CS 77.

The next generation of CS 38 is now available from Reynaers – Slim Line 38 (SL 38) is a highly insulated inward and outward opening aluminium window and door system, that combines elegance and comfort with a unique design. The special slender steel look offers the perfect windows and doors for modern architecture and the renovation of steel-frames, respecting the original design but offering a thermally improved solution. Large-framed Crittall Windows complement the industrial aesthetic and gives the building a unique character and identity of its own. The fabricator on the project was AWS Turner Fain Ltd, part of AWS Group.

Wales Air Ambulance have a new headquarters with a new purpose-built office bringing the charity and the airbase together. Local aluminium fabricators and installers Atcost Windows of Llanelli won the contract to supply and fit all the glazing products throughout the building. Kestrel’s curtain walling was specified to create an impressive frontage to the building and maximise natural light to the common areas and meeting rooms.

It’s great to see our curved perforated panels feature in the ceiling rafts of the new Tessuti flagship store in Liverpool. Fabricated and designed to pattern match, the ceiling features can be found in the main shopping area and changing rooms. These ceiling rafts range from single to triple rings around columns to larger obround and rectangular panels and are supplied in their natural aluminium finish. This highly reflective finish was used to highlight the vibrant column displays and video footage.

Weston-super-Mare’s Revo Kitchen & Terrace Restaurant has been transformed with high-quality floor to ceiling Kestrel Aluminium Folding Sliding Doors that maximise the views and create a fresh, airy space that allows natural light to flood in.
