A range of vibrant shades bringing added pizzazz to any project. Powdertech, Zest™ finishes offer high-performance protection and colour retention.

The finishes are developed using polyester powder coating techniques and processes which have been proven for their architectural integrity over many years. Zest can be applied for both indoor and outdoor locations.

Sheen At 60ᵒ.	Matt: 5—35%. To ISO2813. Tactile matt finish, 5% to 35% depending on finish chosen.
Film thickness	>60 µm.
Application method	Corona discharge system. Powder application. Applied under ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System. Approval Nr: LRQ 10267185.
Pre-treatment	Aluminium: Titanium-zirconium (TiZr) non-chrome six-stage pre-treatment. Galvanized steel: Silane (oxsilan) non-chrome eight-stage pre-treatment. Not required/ other. Consult manufacturer for details for surfaces other than aluminium or galvanized steel.
Approvals	Qualicoat P 0301, P 0472, P 0560 and P 0599. Zest range includes powders of different properties defined by one or more of the approvals below.
Adhesion	Rating 0. Dry adhesion cross hatch (ISO 2409) Rating 0, no coating detachment, wet adhesion (ISO 2409) after 1 hour pressure cooker rating 0, no detachment.
Accelerated weathering	1000 hours no significant change in colour, >50% retained gloss. To ISO 16474-2:2013.
Sulphur dioxide resistance	24 cycles no infiltration. Exceeding 1mm from the scribe, no change in colour or blistering in excess of 2(S2) to ISO 4628-2.
Constant humidity resistance	1000 hours. To ISO 6272-2, <1mm scribe creep. No blistering in excess of 2(S2) to ISO 4628-2.
Impact resistance	No cracking or detachment. Tested to ISO 6272-2: Reverse Impact test.
Erichsen cupping	No cracking or detachment. Tested to ISO 1520, minimum 5 mm indent.
Permeability	No blistering or coating detachment.
Scratch resistance	E2 Pass. To BS 3900.
