A high performance, multi-coat render system, incorporating glass-fibre meshcloth on a panel background and webersil TF top coat.
Suitable for use on new build or refurbishment projects on steel or timber framed substrates. Can be used on buildings above 18 m in England and Wales and 11 m in Scotland.
A high performance, multi-coat render system, incorporating glass-fibre meshcloth on a calcium silicate panel background, and a webersil TF top coat.
Features and benefits:
Applications:
Suitable for use on new build or refurbishment projects on steel or timber framed substrates. Can be used on buildings above 18 m in England and Wales and 11 m in Scotland.
System components:
The installation must be capable of resisting all dead loads and design live loads, including impact and wind loads, and accommodate all thermal movements without damage.
System installation is to be strictly in accordance with Saint-Gobain Weber specification. Please note that any other manufacturer's products used within the system will invalidate the guarantee, and the performance cannot be supported.
Remedial work must be completed prior to the installation of Weber render systems.
All rendering must be in accordance with the relevant recommendations of BS 13914-1: 2005, Design, Preparation and Application of External Rendering and Internal Plastering, BS 8000: Code of Practice for Plastering and Rendering. Consult manufacturer for further details.
Recommendations:
Timber or metal frame structure is required, including support rails suitable to receive render substrate boards in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, providing an in-plane and of adequate thickness for appropriate support and stiffness (limit mid span deflections L/200 and cantilever deflections to L/150. Board mid-span deflections should be limited to L/500) to receive weberend MT reinforced render system within the stated deflection limits or edge protrusions.
Prior to installation of the weberend MT system, ensure the manufacturer of the proposed approved substrate boards are contacted to obtain their fixing recommendations and ensure the boards suitability in withstanding the necessary wind load requirements for the specific project.
Cembrit PB substrate boards must not be used when the building height exceeds three storeys/ 7.2 m.

Product Options | Substrate board: Knauf Aquapanel Exterior and Siniat Bluclad are recommended. More may be available, consult manufacturer for an up to date list of recommended boards tested for this system. Render: - First coat: To be applied in two coats, incorporating meshcloth insulation board. Apply 2–3 mm thick, incorporating weber meshcloth. Allow for partial take-up then apply further 3 mm to form a nominal 6 mm thick monolithic coat. Further application instructions are available from the manufacturer. - Finishing coat:
Accessories/ Other requirements: Render only beads, if required by the system or product, or if specified, shall be of appropriate design, gauge and material - consult manufacturer for details. Some available accessories include:
Where window frames incorporating window cills are to be provided by others, then the cill must project sufficiently beyond the outside line of the Saint-Gobain Weber render system to a recommended 40 mm minimum - consult manufacturer for further details. |
