Wall ties to suit differential coursing.
Application
To be used in conjunction with WT28FT Fastrack restraint to form the Wincro Fastrack Tie System.
Description
Wall ties designed to overcome common site problems in differential coursing when utilizing different masonry types/ sizes or when one leaf is constructed prior to the other.
Features and benefits:
- Manufactured from corrosion resistant stainless steel.
- Designed to eliminate the extra hazard of ties projecting from the inner leaf.
- The restraint channel has welded tie lugs, and is built into the first masonry leaf.
- Wincro channel restraint ties are available in seven sizes from 75–225 mm for tying in to the outer leaf of masonry/ spanning the cavity.
- Wall ties are inserted at any point along the channel's length and are built into the bed joint of the outer leaf as work proceeds.
- The system exceeds the requirements for a type 2 tie to PD 6697.
- Can also be used for restraining stonework using a WTWD2C28 (dowel end) or similar tie.
- CE marked.
