Application

Will fit into the structural membrane of a joint-less plasterboard wall and ceiling system.

Designed for inspection purposes in areas where regular maintenance to services is required, rather than personnel access - consult manufacturer for details.

Please note that the actual size of structural opening in the wall/ceiling needs to be 7 mm larger than the overall panel size. Manufacturer recommends the application of intumescent acrylic mastic on both faces of the frame, nominally 5 mm wide, sealing to the supporting construction.

Description

Access panel with a fire rating of up to four hours, manufactured in Zintec steel.

Made-to-measure Access Panels and Riser Doors supplied with up to 4 hour fire rating if required.

Trade Access Panels can also provide access panels for the wall which are fire rated from both the face and the rear of the panel making them perfect for riser door (only one hour fire rated available for both sides fire rating up to 2000 x 900 mm single door and 2400 x 1800 mm double door unit).
