Guardian Float Glass is perfectly flat and has virtually parallel surfaces. Automatic cutters are used to trim the glass into sizes which can be shipped or handled for further processing.
Guardian Europe has ISO 9001 accreditation for the manufacture of float glass at all of its European based float glass plants. Guardian float glass complies with the requirements of EN 572-2: 1994 'Glass in Building - Basic soda lime silicate glass products -2: Float glass'. Guardian also has ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard.

ExtraClear float glass is Guardian's standard clear float glass offering, unlike most other clear float glass Guardian's ExtraClear has a reduced iron content, this product sits half way between normal clear float and Low Iron glass and provides a better level of clarity with less discolouration (blue/green appearance) when viewed from the cut edge of the glass.
Low Iron float glass which has an almost crystal like appearance, the edge detail is almost completely clear with little to no blue/green discolouration.
