UK/ Homegrown Western Red Cedar Timber Cladding.
The UK/ Homegrown counterpart is faster grown, therefore is only a moderately Durable softwood.
Homegrown Cedar is significantly cheaper over the Western Canadian alternative and from a carbon foot print perspective, is worth considering as the product does not have to travel half way round the world to our country.
The timber will weather to a silver grey over time if not coated, ideal for that rustic finish with the characteristic knots present in the species.
