Description

Highly water resistant, vapour permeable lightweight membrane for secondary external protection of timber and metal frame walls, masonry and rainscreen cladding systems.

Resistant to wind driven rain.

High water resistance >1.5 m water head.

Typically fixed to masonry, ply or OSB sheathing and cement particle board.

Premium grade timber frame breather membrane to EN13859_2.

High tensile strength: 310 N/ 50 mm.

Spunbonded polyethylene composition.

Laps:

- Tyvek 2060B Tape:

Single sided tape for sealing overlaps in Tyvek® membranes and making good around penetrations, pipework, windows and door openings. Very durable ensuring long term performance. Roll size: 75mm x 25m.

Double sided. For sealing to masonry, metal, plastics or wood, at laps or perimeters.

- Tyvek® Double Sided Acrylic Tape

Double sided acrylic tape for sealing laps in Tyvek® membrane and bonding to smooth surfaces. Excellent adhesion properties under extreme conditions. Strong initial tack. Roll size: 50mm x 25m.

- Tyvek® Butyl Tape

Double sided butyl based sealant, used to seal fixing penetrations in a Tyvek® membrane and form a moisture and airtight seal between a Tyvek® membrane and most commonly used building materials. Tape is compatible with brickwork, blockwork, masonry, timber, metalwork and most plastic products. Roll sizes: 20mm x 30m, 50mm x 30m.
