Face fixed, rack-and-pinion door closer.
Application
Suitable for internal doors up to 1100 mm wide, external, outward opening doors, and fire and smoke check doors.
Description
Surface fixed, rack-and-pinion door closer with adjustable closing force and adjustable, self-regulating backcheck.
Features and benefits:
- Can be fixed to door leaf or frame.
- Non-handed.
- Resistance developed by backcheck as door is opened beyond approximately 70° is directly proportional to door acceleration, and is almost imperceptible when door is opened slowly. Backcheck function can be switched off, if not required.
- Closing force easily adjusted, and infinitely variable between size EN 2 and EN 4.
- Closing speed infinitely variable in ranges 180°–15° and 15°–0°.
- Latching action adjustable at arm.
- Anti-corrosion design; suitable for moist and damp areas.
