Gas venting membrane.
Triton TGS – GV25 is a 25 mm thick single-sided geo-composite that provides a void beneath floor slabs which, when connected to air inlets and outlets, allows sufficient air changes to dilute gases (methane, carbon dioxide, radon and hydrocarbon vapour and liquid) to safe concentrations when designed correctly.
The membrane can be laid in strips at pre-determined centres or in a blanket as required, and being only 25 mm thick results in quicker installation when compared to a 200 or 150 mm blanket of stone. It is also extremely strong and flexible with a crush resistance of 250 kPa and large areas can be covered quickly. Can be laid horizontally and vertically to deal with awkward foundation arrangements. It will cope easily with settlement under the slab without compromising the system.
