Trisobuild® FW15H
QA Certificate
Certificate type
Site assembled steel horizontal walling system.
Suitable for horizontal design walling applications.
Site assembled walling system with internal and external profiles.
The Trisobuild® systems can be tailored to meet project requirements including fire resistance and acoustic performance.
The Trisobuild® HW System is a horizontally run external wall system which allows the secondary steelwork to remain horizontal with the Instaloc Plus HW spacer and bar system spanning vertically between these rails.
The capability of the system has been tested to provide a range of performances. The wall system can achieve up to four hours fire integrity and one hour fire insulation.
Features and benefits:
Trisobuild® FW (fire wall) range system build-up:
Supporting structures:
When sheeting rails heat up during a fire they cease to function as structural members. Therefore, to prevent the wall from moving downwards under its own self-weight either a support at the head or base of the wall is required.
All Tata Steel firewalls can be designed to be supported from eaves, beams/ stanchions or rafters and posts if situated on a gable end. However, these elements must be protected using conventional fire protection materials to give the same period of fire resistance as the firewall.
Reaction and resistance to fire:
Thermal performance:
All quoted system U-values and construction ‘psi’ and f values have been computer modelled in accordance with EN ISO 10211 as stated in the Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association (MCRMA) Technical Note 14 by trained and experienced technical engineers.
U-Values are based on secondary steelwork support at 1.8 m centres, 1.2 m bracket spacing and insulation with a 0.040 W/mK thermal conductivity.
U-values:
U-Values are based on an LP1000 liner, secondary steelwork support and brackets at 1.5 m centres, 1.5 m vertical bar spacing and insulation with a 0.040 W/mK thermal conductivity.
