Containment kerbs designed for use within lower speed urban areas where the size of the larger Trief units would not suit the environment.
Application
For use on roads up to 30 mph, i.e. urban or residential areas, or within smaller traffic calming schemes where they are widely used to form traffic calming features, pedestrian refuges and for verge protection.
Description
The Trief Cadet GST1A Containment Kerb system is designed to re-direct light vehicles back onto their intended path preventing accidental overrun and impact with highway structures, passenger vehicles.
The system has been widely used to form traffic calming features, pedestrian refuges and to protect bridges and can also be used to enhance security features by reducing traffic speeds and as a visual and physical deterrent to deliberate incursion.
