Timber sliding gates with tongue and groove infill.
Similar to the standard courtyard gates with the main difference being they are sliding gates and are automated as standard for ease of opening.
Gates without a track:
Gate frame: 100 x 100 mm with a tongue and groove infill, 100 x 25 mm boards ‘V’ jointed clad both sides the gates are supported on one or two 150 mm square posts dependent on size and the gates slides on roller "Carriages" inside the formed running tube. The carriages are bolted to the concrete main foundation either as part of the support post(s) or directly to the foundation.
The top of the gate is supported on a channel through one pair of rollers. The gate closes into guides on a 150 mm² catch post.
The support posts and the catch post are fitted with base plates for bolting to foundations and are heavily galvanized to give a long life. The standard automation equipment supplied is a motor and controller, radio receiver and transmitters, and two pairs of photocells. Step by Step command for opening and closing not fully automated. Gates with a track:
Gate frame: 100 x 100 mm with a tongue and groove infill, 100 x 25 mm boards ‘V’ jointed clad on one side. The timber gate is fitted to a 200 x 100 mm hollow section fitted with two heavy duty wheels that run on a track that is set in concrete. One or two single support posts dependent on application and design.
