ThermoSolo Roofing System

Single layer torch-applied system of high performance elastomeric SBS-modified bitumen membrane. The product has special stripes on the underside to provide a partial bond and allow dispersion of trapped vapour. The membrane is intended for use as an overlay of existing bituminous or asphalt roofs in refurbishment situations. It is used in conjunction with an underlay and capsheet to form fully bonded details.

ThermoSolo is a single layer torch-on mineral capsheet manufactured on a strong polyester reinforcement coated on both sides with SBS polymer modified bitumen. The underside is finished with a specially blended bitumen stripe pattern interplaced with Red Syntan® and a finish of thermofusible film.

The stripe pattern provides vapour equalisation from entrapped moisture in the substrate avoiding blistering. The upper surface is finished with slate granules providing a decorative appearance and UV resistance.
