Application

Marmox Thermoblock is a structural Thermal Break used at the base of a masonry wall or timber or steel framed wall to address the thermal bridge.

Description

With a compressive strength of 9 N/mm², the product can be used at the base of load-bearing walls to stop the cold bridge from occurring.

Features and benefits:

  • Reduces heat loss at the base of walls.
  • Guarantees to provide a significant reduction in the Y value entered into the SAP/ SBEM/ DEAP energy assessment spreadsheet.
  • 9 N/mm² compressive strength meets UK and Irish building regulations enabling it be used in supporting walls.
  • Impermeable to water and can be used in damp conditions without any loss to the insulating properties.
  • Suitable to form the base of walls comprising brick, block or wooden frame.
  • Suitable to form the base layer beneath timber or steel frame walls.
  • A "BRE Certified Thermal Product." offering guaranteed low psi values
