- Upper protective layer:

A protection sheet based on flexible polyolefins (FPO) with inlay of glass non-woven containing flame retardant.

- Waterproof membane:

Sarnafil TG66 membranes are manufactured using a specially developed in line extrusion coating process. This coats both sides of the glass-fibre carrier simultaneously with a compounded Flexible Polyethylene to produce a dynamically stable membrane, which is suitable for adhered and loose laid ballasted applications.

The process enables between 2% and 5% of recycled material to be used in the production of new membranes.

- Insulation:

Rigid polyisocyanurate foam insulation boards to BS EN 13166; with mineral tissue facing. Available in uniform thickness or tapered.

- Vapour control layer:

A 0.60 mm thick, high-performance, self-adhesive vapour control layer, manufactured from polymer modified bitumen, with glass fibre reinforcement and aluminium foil top layer. Suitable for use in high humidity environments, green roofing systems, loose-laid ballasted warm roof systems and all adhered and mechanically fastened systems. Can be used as a temporary waterproof layer for up to 4 weeks, in strict accordance with the product data sheet.

- Upper protective layer:

Loose laid according to the valid installation instructions for Sarnafil® If necessary, S-Felt T 300 can be tacked to the substrate with Sarnacol® T 660. Adjoining sheets must overlap at least 100 mm.

- Waterproof membrane:

Sarnafil TG66 is intended to be loose-laid and ballasted. Installation is carried out by Sarnafil contractors, who are specifically trained in the installation requirements of Sarnafil T membranes.

- Insulation:

SarnaTherm G can be attached to the substrate (deck or suitable vapour control layer) by mechanically fastening with SBT tubes and SBIW-70x70 pressure plates, or by bonding to Sarnavap 5000E SA using Sarnacol 2162 cold bonding adhesive or Sika C250 spray applied adhesive. SarnaTherm G can be loose laid if sufficient ballast weight is provided immediately to resist wind uplift pressures.

A vapour control layer will be required when SarnaTherm G is used.

- Vapour control layer:

Sarnavap® 5000E SA is self-adhered to the substrate. Include Sarnafil Primer 600 to the substrate, and in addition metal deck may need de-greasing using Sarnafil T Prep.
