TD Extra Adjustable Paving Support Pedestals

Increased height range per pedestal. Injection moulded four-part polypropylene unit designed to support timber joists as part of a timber decking system.

Extended adjustment height available per unit for greater flexibility on areas with large changes in level. Pedestals available 85-135 mm, 125-215 mm and 210-380 mm.

Timber joist is placed onto headpiece between housing lugs and decking boards mechanically fixed to joists.

Weight bearing capacity up to 683 kg per unit. Loose laid system, weight of the timber decking and the cross-fixed timber joist framework holds system in place.

Base plate diameter 200 mm, threaded stem unit and nut fixing and head plate. Head plate is 120 mm diameter with four lug fittings moulded into it. 20 mm high lugs are located 40 mm apart in one direction and 60 mm apart in another direction.

Rainwater drains between and beneath the decking.

Stem unit contains an extended threaded section per pedestal. 2.5 mm acoustic shims available to fit onto headpieces. TD Plus and TD Mobile headpieces available where joist needs to be fixed to headpiece.

Metal balance beams also used under baseplates to hold a vertical step / skirting board between deck and horizontal timber decking.

Slope correctors of 1%, 2% and 3% available to click under the baseplate to keep the pedestal completely vertical on larger gradients.
