Description

The professional’s 'basement waterproofing system of choice', System 500 is an internally applied basement waterproofing system based upon a range of cavity drain membranes, drainage conduits and sophisticated pumping and control systems. Unlike conventional ’tanking’, System 500 does not attempt the almost impossible and try to hold water back, but places designed maintainable depressurization voids at known weaknesses in the structure so that ingressing water is simply captured and diverted out of the property.

Newton Baseboard consists of the following components:

Basedrain: Conduit for the perimeter of the area to be waterproofed. Is situated at the base of the wall membrane.

Floordrain: Conduit for collection of water at construction joint to the floor and to replace Basedrain at door thresholds. Floordrain is also used to connect the perimeter Basedrain to the sump.

Basedrain Swept Corner: Formed 90° corner.

Basedrain T Piece: Formed T for a 90° connection to Floordrain from Basedrain.

Inspection Port: For inspection and maintenance access to the drainage system.

Consult manufacturer for design requirements and insert drawing reference number where applicable.

Water sump:

Specifically to be used with Newton System 500 – Cavity Drain Waterproofing. The adjustable neck allows for the sump to be installed at a fixed height relative to the slab so that the connection in from the Newton drainage system and the pump discharge line are made above the concrete.

- Pump:

Newton NP150: Medium head and low to medium performance pump.

Newton NP400: High head and high to medium performance pump. Available both as an automatic self switching pump (P2) and manual version for use with pump control systems (P3).

Newton NP400W: Medium head and medium performance non-sewage pump.

Newton NP750: High head and high performance pump.

Newton 750W: High head and high performance non-sewage pump.
