Laminated acoustic lagging.
Laminated acoustic lagging that consists of two 25 mm layers of glass fibre insulation around a heavy mass barrier core of lead or polymeric material: one face has a woven glass tissue covering, the other a fire resistant foil facing.
SuperLag AcoustiShield is typically used for air conditioning ductwork, and pipework requiring acoustic treatment.
SuperLag AcoustiShield can be fitted on circular ducts using foil faced adhesive tape and, on larger ducts, proprietary banding systems. On large sections, SuperLag AcoustiShield may require mechanical support such as banding, or pins and self- locking washers.
