Application

  • Acoustic spray for noise reverberation control in schools, offices, receptions, meeting rooms and churches.
  • Ceilings, soffits, walls above 2 m.
  • Sound absorbing spray for flat, dome, vaulted, corrugated/ profiled ceilings.
  • Spray directly onto plasterboard, concrete, steel sheet and most other surfaces.


Please note that it is important not to use moisture resistant plasterboard as this can cause staining of wet applied products. Oil based stain barrier paints can be used to prevent this. Please consult Oscar Acoustics for more information.


A minimum of 12.5mm thick plasterboard, installed to British Gypsum specification should be used.

Description

An attractive, spray applied, lightly textured, seamless acoustic spray finish for noise reverberation control. Lightly textured surface coating. Naturally safe, recycled cellulose fibre, with low embodied energy. Can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste. An excellent alternative to acoustic panel ceilings without design compromise.

Sound absorption:

Acoustic testing has been carried out against concrete. Substrates likely to provide increased performance include plasterboard with the use of an air gap behind, rib deck or profiled metal sheet. Please contact Oscar Acoustics’ technical department for free design assistance.
