Flangeless Fittings: 90% of flangeless fittings do not work properly with any acoustic finish. If you are specifying a flangless fitting, please contact Oscar Acoustics for advice. Sound absorption: Acoustic testing has been carried out against concrete. Substrates likely to provide increased performance include plasterboard with the use of an air gap behind, rib deck or profiled metal sheet.
