Suitable for use in the construction of external and internal loadbearing and non-loadbearing walls, including the inner and outer leaves of cavity walls, party walls, partition walls and boundary walls. Can also be used as reinforced masonry walls through incorporation of bed joint reinforcement.

Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 771-3 and BS 5628-1.

Description

Masonry block with a smooth face finish.

Manufactured from cement, graded aggregates, an integral waterproofer and pigment.

  • Shear bond strength (to BS EN 998.2, Annex C): 0.15 N/mm².
  • Maximum moisture movement: 0.15 mm/m.

  • Buff – Recommended mortar: Beige E74.
  • Cream – Recommended mortar: Cream G89. White cement should be used in the mix.
  • Green – Recommended mortar: Green N70. White cement should be used in the mix.
  • Honey – Recommended mortar: Tan C30.
  • Natural – Recommended mortar: Standard.
  • Oatmeal – Recommended mortar: White J88. White cement should be used in the mix.
  • Red – Recommended mortar: Orange T36.
  • Sandstone – Recommended mortar: Cream G89. White cement should be used in the mix.
  • Straw – Recommended mortar: Yellow D10.
  • Whinstone – Recommended mortar: Black L62.
  • White – Recommended mortar: White J88. White cement should be used in the mix.

Joint:

The spacing between control joints should be at 6–10 m intervals.
