Non-insulated, aluminium framed system with top hung, sliding/ folding panels.
Non-insulated, aluminium framed system consisting of top hung sliding/ folding panels. Applications include balcony fenestration, conservatories, shop fronts, swimming pool enclosures, terrace glazing, residential and commercial façades.
Beside standard inwards or outwards opening, part of folding elements can be folding inwards and the other part outwards (bi-folding). Segmented layouts are available as an option, on request. A separately operated entry/ exit door panel can be integrated.
Performance:

Maximum panel weight: 100 kg. Double glazing (2 x 4 mm) requires a glass-dividing rung, starting from a height of 2550 mm. Special sizes are available on request. Refer to technical literature for panel size diagrams. Frame finish: Standard frame finish/ colours: Powder coating, RAL 9016 or RAL 8077; or EURAS eloxal E6 EV1 or E6 C34. Other finishes are available on request. Glazing: Standard glazing: Single glazing with 5 mm float glass, or insulating glass units with 2 x 4 mm float glass. Glass upgrade from 5 mm to 18 mm (maximum) is possible. The glass is fixed into sills with a continuous snap-in bead to allow trouble-free pane replacement at a later date. Special glazing methods available on request. Track system and running gear: Running and guide tracks are flush-mounted into the system. Low-maintenance, low-rattle, rustproof fittings ensure stability of the system. Height tolerances and expansion are allowed for in the design to prevent operational faults and ensure weathertightness. Top mounted running gear units each have four universally jointed (cardanic) rollers for even load spread. Trolley bearings run quietly on a sealed, heat and cold resistant running surface of glass fibre reinforced polyamide. The 200 kg capacity trolleys are height adjustable. – Top track: Extruded aluminium – reference 5-45-01-x. – Floor track: Extruded aluminium: Available with or without a threshold; can be set into the floor. The design without threshold is for shop fronts or for ‘barrier-free dwellings’ in compliance with DIN 18 025. – Stacking: Inside or outside stacking. Ironmongery/ Accessories: All fittings are corrosion-free and are concealed within the profiles. Panels are sturdily connected at the mitred corners using concealed corner connectors that are glued under pressure. Panels are latched and unlatched by means of internal flat handles with 180° rotation; lockable handles are optional. Handles available in four RAL colours as standard – other finishes available on request. Aluminium locking bars with minimum 24 mm travel, act on the top and bottom track; bar ends are fitted with polyamide caps to prevent metal to metal contact. The fasteners are width-adjustable to allow adjustment of the folding system, and are equipped with secured hinges to hinder break-ins. Panel connectors are finished in EURAS eloxal, in four RAL colours. Standard ironmongery for entry/ exit door: Handle inside and outside; three point locking handle and cylinder available as an option for greater security and weathertightness. |
