Guidance for specification option: BS 8212:1995 - 'Code of practice for drylining and partitioning using gypsum plasterboard'. BS 8000 Workmanship on building sites Part 8:1989 - 'Code of practice for plasterboard partitions and drylining'. Note: Please ensure performance standards stated are appropriate for the intended uses of the shaft.

All penetrations should use supporting constructions detailed in the Siniat Drywall Manual unless superseded by specific test information. For combined, warrantied performance specify FSi fire-stopping products. For cPVC pipe sealing, use FSi Promat PYROPRO® HPE Sealant in place of Siniat Intumescent Acoustic Sealant.
Sealer coat	Siniat Drywall Sealer. Guidance for specification option: Apply 2 coats undiluted across the whole drylined surface by brush or roller to coverage rate as defined by current Siniat Drywall Manual.
Height	Guidance for specification option: Insert requirements. Cold state maximum height: 6700 mm. UK AD.B and EN compliant maximum height: 4000 mm. Manufacturer guidance EN Compliant max height is the lowest of cold state height and maximum fire state height as stated in associated classification report. By agreement between the project's client, designers, and appointed building control body, it may be possible to design based only on mechanical ‘cold state’ maximum height.
