Description

LaDura is an alternative to a traditional gypsum fibreboard. Made from gypsum reinforced with wood fibre, it is stronger and harder than other plasterboards giving greater impact and pull out resistance. The board combines fire, moisture and impact resistance and provides a superior finish to gypsum fibreboards. It has been designed for durability in busy, high traffic areas which are intensively used, or prone to abnormal or rough use including schools, hospitals and hotel corridors.

Material:

Colour:

White/ grey on both faces. Wood particles (0–3 mm) are visible in the core.

Edges:

Tapered down the long edges.

  • Thermal conductivity (to BS EN 12524): 0.25 W/m·K.
  • Water vapour resistance factor (to BS EN ISO 12524): μ = 10.
  • Moisture content: 0.6–1%.
  • Water uptake (to BS EN 520): ≤5%.
  • Longitudinal breaking load (to BS EN 520): 12.5 mm thickness: ≥725 N; 15 mm thickness: ≥870 N.
  • Transverse breaking load (to BS EN 520): 12.5 mm thickness: ≥300 N; 15 mm thickness: ≥360 N.
  • Reaction to fire (to BS EN 520): A2-s1, d0.
