A high-performance fibre cement board for external applications.
Siniat Bluclad is a cement fibre board suitable for external sheathing, direct render and other textured finishes. The board has outstanding dimensional stability, making it suitable as a substrate for a variety of thin-coat polymeric renders. Bluclad is available in a standard 10 mm thickness, and has a textured surface for rendering.

Standard product features | Colour: Beige, and exhibits shiny particles of mica crystals visible on both sides of its surface. Material: Portland cement, selected mineral fillers, including mica (providing extra-high dimensional stability and low hydric movement), organic reinforcing fibres and functional additives. The boards receive a hydrophobic treatment on all surfaces. Edges: Square. Size: 1200 x 2400 x 10 mm. Weight: 33.9 kg. Finishing: When used in ventilated facade, the board can be butt-jointed. When used in a non-ventilated facade, the board should be installed with a 3 mm gap. There is no need to treat the joints between boards before installing the render systems. To reduce water ingress during construction, joints may be sealed with silicone sealant. Suitable with acrylic-based renders only; consult the manufacturer for details. Fixing: The board can be fixed to timber frame using the countersunk stainless steel screws, and to a metal frame with countersunk bi-metal screws for metal thicknesses of up to 2 mm.
