Curtain walling system with enhanced thermal performance.
A curtain wall system which has been designed to enhance thermal performance meaning the system can exceed current Building Regulations. It is a stick type front loaded system using spring pins and a specially designed cleat which allows square cutting throughout.
The system can be either zone drained (via conventional pressure plate drainage or using a specially designed spout system) or it can be mullion drained.
The zone drained system can be assembled capped, uncapped (using the SAS toggles) or combination of the two.
Section sizes vary from 50–250 mm (50, 80, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225 and 250 mm). Specific profiles can be incorporated offering design flexibility.

Tested to CWCT specification sequence B and in accordance with BS EN 13830.
Mullion size dependent on wind load, mullion centres and tie back positions. Transom size subject to span and glass weight and in-conjunction with architectural design.
Aluminium alloy 6060, 6063 or 6083 (for improved strength). T6 to BS EN 755-9 or BS EN 12020-2.
H11/110 Curtain walling
Air permeability: 600 Pa, Water tightness: 600 Pa; Wind resistance: 2400 Pa.
Aluminium curtain wall frame sections, zone drained.
Insert requirements; 22–50 mm-thick glazing available, double or triple glazed.
Consult with Senior Aluminium Systems for recommendations and details. All glazing complies with BS 6262 and ground floor glazing will comply with Secured by Design (inner pane to be a minimum of 6.8 mm laminated).
Consult manufacturer for options and insert requirements or omit.
Aluminium/ co-extruded plastic pressure plate.
Fixed to mullions and transoms at a maximum of 25 mm from ends and at a maximum of 150 centres.
Polyester powder coating.
Insert colour requirements.
To BS EN 12206-1. Painted in-house, the surface finish is 40 µm as standard, or enhanced to 60 µm for marine environments.
Insert colour requirements. Available in a limited range of colours, consult manufacturer for details.
To BS 3897 to a minimum of 25 µm (AA25).
