Application

Security framing system in a two-pane horizontal sliding option, providing significant levels of blast mitigation and intruder resistance, with equivalence to strong bars and grilles.

Description

Security horizontal sliding (HS) framing system with two sliding sashes. Provides high levels of blast mitigation and intruder-resistance, with equivalence to strong bars and grilles.

The sashes slide within the frames, so do not interfere with blinds or curtains and provide access to the outer window. Large ribbon windows can be accommodated by linking units with a colour-matched mullion/ transom section. Sashes should be removed by a specialist when cleaning and maintenance is required.

Suitable for extreme security situations where thick laminated and polycarbonate glass is required. Will reduce heat loss by up to 47% using standard glass compositions and up to 65% with a thermally-efficient glass (low emissivity). High performance brush seals will almost eliminate drafts and ensure much greater comfort near the window.
