Series 60 Tilt In Vertical Sliding

Slimline, tilt-in vertical sliding (VS) secondary glazing. Specialist framing system allowing individual panes to tilt inwards on safety stays to assist with cleaning. Particularly suited to treating traditional sash windows with offset meeting stiles.

Allows close fitting to the existing windows. Suitable for listed buildings where the primary glazing cannot be changed. It is a reversible adaptation, so generally accepted by heritage agencies.

Will reduce heat loss by up to 50% using standard glass and up to 65% with a thermally efficient glass (low emissivity). The system is also fitted with a mixture of high performance brush and compression seals that will minimize drafts and ensure greater comfort near the window.

Performance:

• Acoustic: Tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3: 1995 for acoustic performance: between 40 and 47 dB can be achieved.

• Thermal: U-values as low as 1.81 W/m²K (timber primary window and low-E glass in secondary glazing).
