Heritage hinged casement (HC) secondary glazing.
Heritage hinged casement (HC) secondary glazing is a specialist framing system with a very slim profile to allow installation within the staff bead of smaller, traditional sash windows.
A neat flush hinge and removable catch can allow window shutters to operate normally. Provides good thermal insulation with minimal intrusion.
Suitable for listed buildings where the primary glazing cannot be changed. It is a reversible adaptation, so generally accepted by heritage agencies (note that size limitations apply).
Blast tested to ISO 16933 Classification code EXV 25.
Twin compression seals, concealed fixings, designed to be installed into the staff bead space on box sash primary windows, 90° restrictor stay
