Safety/ Security/ Bomb Blast Window Film

A selection of clear safety/ security window films designed to create a potentially life-saving barrier by reducing the risk of breakage during impact and holding glass fragments in place if breakage occurs. Can protect personnel and property in the event of accidental or deliberate glass breakage including Bomb Blast Mitigation.

WFC-SSS100 and SSS200 combines solar control properties with high grade safety/ security and is extensively used for bomb blast protection. These two films reduce high levels of incoming solar energy/ glare and give an external mirrored look which can upgrade the appearance of a building.

Installation:

This type of window film must be installed by The Window Film Company® to ensure that it complies with the highest possible installation standards to validate the warranty of the product.

The Window Film Company® can advise on which thickness of films should be applied to different size windows/ thickness of glass and locations within a building to comply with current Health and Safety standards.

Window film complies with BS 476-6 and -7, Class 0 – Surface Spread of Flame and Ignitability.

Warranty:

Ten year manufacturer’s warranty supplied when professionally installed internally. The external grade 100 Micron Clear has a four year warranty when applied onto vertical glazing by The Window Film Company®.
