Rockwool Cavity Wall Batts are CE and Key marked in accordance with BS EN 13162.
Non-combustible, achieving a classification of A1 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1.
Rockwool is a ‘breathable’ material with a vapour resistivity similar to air (5.9 MNs/gm). Rockwool Cavity Wall Batts therefore reduce the risk of condensation and allow natural drying out of the wall construction.
Rockwool insulation products do not contain blowing agents with an ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP), are CFC-HCFC-HFC free and 97% recyclable. They will not react with metal components or cause loss of plasticiser from PVC cables and pipes.

Thickness: To conform with the tolerance limits given in BS 6676-2: 1986, the as-built clear cavity width should be no more than 15 mm wider than the insulation thickness (10 mm for 50 and 60 mm thick batts), e.g. maximum clear cavity width for 100 mm thick insulation is 115 mm. Thermal conductivity: 0.037 W/mK. Standards: Manufactured to BS EN 13162 and conforming with BS 6676-1. |
