A flatglass rooflight with integral blinds designed as an effective solar management solution in residential, commercial and public buildings.

  • Recommended pitch of 5° to help shed water.
  • Minimal framework: Daylight is maximized while the visible framework is minimized.

Designed to standard loadings of 640 N/m² (snow) and 750 N/m² (wind) and in accordance with the following Standards:

Frame:

Manufactured from extruded aluminium section to BS EN 12020-1.

Size:

  • Maximum: 1650 x 4500 mm.
  • Minimum: 500 x 500 mm.

Kerb:

Recommended 150 mm high, minimum 75 mm wide.

Thermal performance (total product U-Value):

  • Double glazed: 1.6 W/m²K (1.3 W/m²K to special order).
  • Triple glazed: 1.2 W/m²K (1.0 W/m²K to special order).

Blinds:

  • Colour: White.
  • Blind material is UV stable.
  • Maintenance free.
  • 24 V DC motors.
  • 25 s/m running speed.
  • Tested to 50 000 repetitions.
  • The blind unit is covered by five year guarantee.
  • 24 V transformer switch and remote control.

- Standard specification:

  • Outer: The integrated glazing unit consists of heat soak tested toughened glass.
  • Cavity: Argon filled cavity, swiss warm edge spacer, ultraviolet resistant silicone edge seal and a low emissivity coating on the inner skin.
  • Inner: Heat soak tested toughened or laminated.

The IGU’s are manufactured to BS EN 1279. Consult the manufacturer for further details.
