Restraint Straps are manufactured in two types: Heavy Duty to provide horizontal restraint and Standard to provide vertical restraint against wind pressure and uplift forces.
Features:
- Manufactured from pre-galvanized steel strips with zinc coated edges to BS EN 10346: 2009, DX51D + Z275 or stainless steel to BS EN 10088-1: 1995: 1.4301.
- Hole diameters are 6 mm, 12.5 mm apart, grouped in threes diagonally across the width of the strap.
Fixings:
- For Heavy Duty and Standard straps: Use either no. 12 x 50 mm wood screws or 4 x 75 mm corrosion resistant nails.
- For stainless steel straps, stainless steel fixings must be used.
