Description

Designed for large area repairs such as bridges, tunnels, retaining walls etc. The aggregates are chosen so as to be classified as ‘non-reactive’ and the product has an alkali content of less than 3 kg/m³.

Renderoc DS conforms to the requirements of the UK Department of Transport Standard (BD27/86, Clause 5) ‘Materials for the Repair of Concrete Highway Structures’, and has been formulated to comply with the DTp Specification for Highway Works Clause 1704.6 Control of Alkali-Silica Reaction.

CE marking:

  • Declaration of performance: UK9-35.
  • Standard: BS EN 1504-3.
  • Compressive strength: Class R4 (> 45 MPa).
  • Chloride ion content: ≤0.05%.
  • Adhesive strength by pull-off test: ≥2.0 MPa.
  • Thermal compatibility (freeze-thaw cycling with immersion): ≥2.0 MPa.
  • Carbonation resistance: Pass.
  • Elastic modulus in compression: 28.6 GPa.
  • Reaction to fire: Class A1.
  • Dangerous substances: Complies with 5.4.
  • Capillary absorption (water permeability): ≤0.5 kg/m².h

Compressive strength (BS EN 12190:1999):

  • One day: 20 MPa.
  • Seven days: 45 MPa.
  • 28 days: 60 MPa.

Setting time:

  • Initial set: 3.5 hours.
  • Final set: 5.0 hours.
