Pyrodor Flex - Fire Curtain

The Pyrodor Flex is constructed from a high-grade fire-rated fabric with a stainless steel weave and stitched and hemmed with Kevlar and stainless steel thread. Fire curtains can be manufactured to almost infinite widths. The curtains are controlled by 24 V d.c. gravity fail-safe motors complete with a battery back up. The curtain side guides and head box are constructed from galvanized or stainless steel and can be in powder-coat finish to match the surroundings.

Fire curtains provide a very neat and compact finish, making them ideal for internal areas or when used in combination with another door or shutter. Available with a variety of emergency release mechanisms including: fire alarm link; smoke detector; and heat sensor. The curtains can also be provided with individual or group control panels. The control panel can also provide features such as: audio-visual warning signal; staged close; safety sensor photobeam; and delayed des-cent. When fire curtains are installed on an escape route they can also be provided with an emergency retract green push button. The fire curtains are tested to BS 476 part 22; EN 1634-1; BS 7346: Part 3.
