PX3 All Purpose Primer
A solvent based primer.
Crown Trade PX3 is a solvent based, stain blocking and adhesion promoting primer for interior and exterior use. Suitable for difficult substrates including glass, ceramic times, melamine and previously painted surfaces, as well as most wood and non-ferrous metals. It also has excellent stain sealing properties and can be used on most surfaces subject to staining by smoke, crayon, tannin, water stains and aerosol etc. Stains are held in the primer and will be obliterated by the decorative product.

Drying time: Under normal drying conditions surface dry after four hours and re-coatable after 16 hours. Allow for adequate ventilation during the drying period. Spreading rate: Up to 13 m²/ litre on smooth surfaces. Wet film thickness: 77 micrometres at 13 m²/ litre. Dry film thickness: 27 micrometres at 13 m²/ litre. VOC content: EU limit value for this product (cat.A/i): 750 g/L (2010). The product contains a maximum of 2 g/L VOC. Solids content: 35% white. Flash point: 40°C (closed cup). |
