Compact, secure outdoor locker designed primarily for the residential sector where there is a requirement for the economical storage of buggies, prams and children’s toys in confined spaces. The low-profile design enables installation below window height, avoiding the blocking out of natural light from adjacent properties, while providing clear lines of sight for the security of users and residents.
Features and benefits:
- Two unit depths to suit site locations with availability to configure as a bank of storage units.
- Customizable finishes: The availability of laser cut door and panels, coloured steel cladding choices and the option of contrasting side infill panels in timber make for less obtrusive outdoor storage.
- Compatibility: Consistent design themes can be achieved along with other metroSTOR products.
- Fitted with the manufacturer's own modular lock system or customer specific user locking control as required.
- Secure design: Fully welded steel frame with security fixings to secure possessions inside even if panel integrity is compromised by attempted theft.
- Adjustable base plinth design enables units to be installed in uniform lines and level, without additional groundworks.
- A range of cladding and finish options are available (including vandal resistant steel, HDPE and hardwood slatted panels) to suit project requirements.
Fire performance:
- Fire retardant options for tongue and groove v-jointed (TGV) and sheet type cladding have a fireboard MgO internal liner with either treated timber or coated steel panel outer to provide Euro-class A1, UK class 0 reaction to fire. The panels are manufactured from materials of limited combustibility throughout to provide 30 minutes' fire resistance to BS 476.
- Where fire retardant properties are required for an open-spaced cladding type, SE timber plank can be specified with a treatment process providing a Euro-class B, UK class 0 Reaction to Fire classification.
