Description

Polyfoam Roofboard Extra is a high performance, rigid, extruded polystyrene board that is lightweight that has excellent structural strength and long term effectiveness.

Polyfoam Roofboard Extra is for use in flat roofing applications - from protected membrane roofs to single ply membrane roofs. Polyfoam Roofboard Extra has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than five and Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).

Features	Polyfoam XPS Ltd is a leading manufacturer of closed cell, extruded polystyrene insulation. The Polyfoam range is lightweight, strong, moisture resistant and easy to cut and shape, providing thermal performance and strength for the lifetime of the building. Polyfoam Roofboard Extra is suitable for inverted, green and blue roofs and benefits from a thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/mK and a compressive strength of 300 kPa. Manufactured in the UK using a blowing agent with low global warming potential (GWP) and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), Polyfoam XPS products are free from CFCs and HCFCs. They have Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and raw material procurement is certified to BES 6001 (Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products). The Polyfoam XPS factory in Hartlepool has been assessed as operating under an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, an ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, an ISO 50001 Energy Management System, and an OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System. Polyfoam Roofboard Extra also has a BBA Agrément certification for its Inverted Roof System.
