Polyfoam Floorboard Extra is rigid extruded polystyrene (XPS) board with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 5 and Zero Ozone Depletion Potential.
Polyfoam Floorboard is a rigid, lightweight extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation. Available in Standard, Extra and Super grades, it offers a range of compressive strengths for use in applications ranging from domestic floor slabs to intensively loaded industrial flooring. In addition to lambda values as low as 0.033 W/m·K, the thermally efficient foam boards are also robust and moisture resistant, making them suitable for basement walls and floors, swimming pool basins and perimeter insulation below DPC.

| Features | Polyfoam XPS Ltd is a leading manufacturer of closed cell, extruded polystyrene insulation. The Polyfoam range is lightweight, strong, moisture resistant and easy to cut and shape, providing thermal performance and strength for the lifetime of the building. Polyfoam Floorboard Extra is suitable for basements, swimming pool basins and heavy-duty commercial, industrial and cold store flooring. It benefits from a thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/mK, a compressive strength of 300 kPa and is resistant to ground moisture penetration. Manufactured in the UK using a blowing agent with low global warming potential (GWP) and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), Polyfoam XPS products are free from CFCs and HCFCs. They have Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and raw material procurement is certified to BES 6001 (Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products). The Polyfoam XPS factory in Hartlepool has been assessed as operating under an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, an ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, an ISO 50001 Energy Management System, and an OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System. Polyfoam Floorboard Extra also benefits from BBA Agrément certification. |
