PFC Corofil Firestop Compound
Application

Used to provide a fire rated seal around service penetrations in fire rated walls and floors.

Description

Firestopping compound which is mixed with water and then trowelled or poured around service penetrations. Tested in accordance with BS 476-20.

Features and benefits:

  • Smoke seal.
  • Suitable for sealing apertures containing copper/ steel pipes up to 50 mm diameter.
  • Suitable for sealing apertures containing cables on cable trays or ladders.
  • Trays may be perforated or non-perforated, maximum size of 500 x 50 mm. Ladders up to a maximum of 300 mm wide constructed from 1.5 mm steel.
  • Approved cable references A1, A2, A3, B, C1, C2, C3, D1, D2, D3, E, F, G1, G2; as defined in BS EN 1366-3.
  • No smoke emission.
  • Approved for use on London Underground projects.
  • Up to six hours' integrity.
