Graphite impregnated intumescent strap with high flexibility.
Application
Designed to close off combustible elements whilst maintaining compartmentation. It is also a component product incorporated within many Nullifire fire stopping products.
This product is most commonly used around combustible pipes with a diameter of between 10–160 mm and all types of pipe insulation up to 60 mm thick.
Description
A graphite impregnated intumescent strap with high flexibility, for sealing around combustible pipes and all types of pipe insulation.
Features and benefits:

- Unaffected by moisture.
- Fully tested for up to 240 minutes' integrity and insulation (dependent on application).
- Available in easy to handle rolls.
- Simply link with duct tape.
- Tested substrates:
- 64 kg rock mineral fibre, 0–60 mm annular space (60 mm minimum depth).
- FS702 within concrete, 0–20 mm annular space in floors.
- FB750 Batt 140 kg/m³ (walls).
- Intudeck 140 kg/m³ (timber floors).
- FR230 Compound 1000 kg/m³.
- Concrete or blockwork.
- 0.7 gauge (minimum) steel.
- Typical pipes:
High density polyethylene (HDPE), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), medium density polyethylene (MDPE), unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C), polypropylene random copolymer (PPR), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE),
- Typical insulation types:
- Rock fibre, glass fibre, phenolic, nitrile rubbers.
- Tested in floors and walls including lightweight partitions.
- May also be used within FB750 Batt.
